Obituary: William D. Petryniec, 63, of New Port Richey, Florida, died 26, 2010, at home under the care of the HPH Hospice. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Florida from his hometown in 1979. He was the Plant Manager for the Pasco School Board, Gulf Highlands Elementary School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Port Richey, and served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed watching his children play sports. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Linda C., sons Brian and Mark of New Port Richey, daughter Cora Jarboe of Seminole, FL, mother Mildred Sikorski of Largo, brother Herbert of Palmetto, FL, sister Brenda Johncola of Tarpon Springs, FL, and by his grandchildren Kyle and Evan Jarboe. A visitation will be held on , 29, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the North Meadowlawn , New Port Richey, (727) 849-9281, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, , 30, 2010 under the direction of Rev. Obituary: PETRY – William E. (Bill) was called home by our heavenly Father on 25, 2014. Beloved husband for 69 yrs to his loving wife Faith. Devoted father to Patricia and husband Neil, William Jr., and wife Christina, Debra and husband Harry. Adored Grandfather of Neil Jr., Lisa, David, Charles, Richard, Karina, Sydney, Jenna and Amanda. Loving Great-Grandfather to Vincent and Christy. Bill was a proud veteran of WWII, volunteering at age 17. He served in the US Navy and saw action in the European Theater including the D-Day invasion of Normandy. the war he joined United Parcel Service (UPS) alongside founder Jim Casey. Bill was a major contributor to the company’s success. his retirement, Bill and Faith traveled the world and then relocated to Florida from New York. Always deeply committed to his family he insisted (with no excuses) on taking everyone on a reunion cruise every year. Bill inspired all who knew him with his positive outlook on life, his generosity, his tremendous work ethic and strength of character. Through our tears, we celebrate his life. Obituary: MELROY (MEL) P. PETRY,85 of Port Saint Lucie, FL, passed away 27, 2014 in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Born 5, 1929 in Johnstown, PA; son of George W. and Mazie (Shaffer) Petry. During the Korean War, Mel served in the US Army. Prior to retirement, he was a bricklayer in the building industry. Mel is a member of Port Saint Lucie Christian Church and at one time had been a deacon. Survivors include his wife, Eva Petry and daughter ReNae Petry of Port Saint Lucie, FL; brother, Robert Petry and wife Blanche, along with two sisters-in-law, Hazel and Vivian Petry of Johnstown, PA. He was preceded in death by brothers, Sanford, Eugene, George and sister-in-law, Lorraine Petry. Mel was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by wife and daughter.
