Obituary: Edith Irene Parker, 86, of Jacksonville FL, passed away , 5, 2017. She was born in Banks , Georgia on 25, 1930 and married Ezra L. Parker on May 20, 1950. Irene dearly loved her family and her church, and was a devoted member of First Coast Baptist Church. For many years, she taught 3rd Grade School for Jacksonville Baptist Temple, where she shared her love of God with younger generations. She also had a passion for crocheting and made many beautiful pieces for her family. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Parker, her parents, Ben and Ella Brady, her brothers, Carson Brady, Buck Brady, and James Brady, and her sisters, Betty Ann Duckett and Lurlene Hart. Irene is survived by her daughters, LeJean Wollitz (Jim) and Janet Gordon (Jim), and her grandchildren, Mindy Janousek (James), Becky Wollitz, Rodney Wollitz (Wintter), Katie Gordon (Christopher), and Matthew Gordon (Erin). She also leaves to cherish her memory her great-grandchildren, Joslyn Megar, Ella Janousek, and Ezra Gordon, and her siblings, Christine Blair, Geraldine Cragg, and Mamie Arrendale. Irene was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Irene was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on , 8, 2017 at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel, 729 Edgewood Ave. South, Jacksonville FL 32205. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am , 9, 2017 at First Coast Baptist Church, 7587 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville FL 32244. Obituary: PARKER, Hope Tschill, age 90, of Plant City, FL passed away on 13, 2016. Hope was born on May 13, 1926 in Marcus, Iowa to Gene Tschill and Margaret (Lamberty) Tschill. Hope was a member of Ahava Baptist Church in Plant City. She was a dietician at Lakeland Regional Hospital where she retired. She loved gardening, cats, and reading her Bible. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Tschill; mother, Margaret (Lamberty) Tschill; and son, Don Harris Parker. She is survived by her three daughters, Phyllis West of Lakeland, FL, Janis Parker Beach of Plant City, FL and Sharon Crawford of Greenwood, IN; sister, Carol Negus; and eight grandchildren, Jimmy West, Diane Adams, Mark West, Glenda Wood, Lorne Beach, Marcus Hackleman, Stacy Coleman and Sean Childs. A memorial service will be on , 3, 2016, 10:30am at Ahava Baptist Church 6015 W. Farkas Rd. Plant City, FL 33567 with Pastor Mike Holland officiating. Obituary: PARKER JR, HERBERT C., "Bud", of Pompano Beach formally of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on , 10,2014, with a full moon in the sky, at the age of 96 ( two months shy of his 97th birthday), with his devoted daughter, Wendy, at his side. Born Oct. 9, 1917 in "The Big House" known as Kilty Hill in Attleboro. He lived and grew up in North Avenue and often told amusing stories of his childhood adventures and tales from "Featherville". He was the son of Herbert C Parker "Barney" (Attleboro Fireman) and Marion Trescott. He was predeceased by his wife, Hazel Waterman and his daughter, Linda Snyder. Bud is survived by his caregiver and daughter, Wendy Wheeler of Attleboro, MA; daughter, Susan Parker Jeal and her husband, Peter of San Francisco, CA; son, Thomas of Wells, ME; son, Steven and his wife, Louise, of North Attleboro, MA ; three grandchildren, Julie, Melissa, and Tyler; three great grandchildren, Tyler, Zoe, and Ava; his good friend Keri and her family. He was a 1935 graduate of A.H.S. and RI School of Design. He was proud of his 45 years at Texas Instruments as Supervisor for the Screw Machine Department. raising five children, Bud and Hazel traveled in his custom-made van to Canada, Alaska and every state in the lower 48 except North Dakota. His CB handle was Steamboat. At age 90, he got his passport and visited the Cayman Islands. Bud enjoyed boating and fishing on his boat the ig-Zag (named for the wake pattern left by Hazel whenever she took over at the wheel) out of Barrington, Rhode Island. Quite talented at carving , carpentry and woodworking. He built many furnishings for both homes, the boat and van as well as several unique bird feeders. He was an avid reader and also loved listening to his collection of tunes from the Big Band Era. He loved the outdoors and could often be seen at sunrise at the Hillsboro Inlet where he enjoyed the camaraderie of his numerous friends. He was a great storyteller with a quick wit , was kind and had a very generous nature to everyone. When asked by his daughter\ Dad, whats your favorite flower?.... He quickly replied Pillsbury. To honor Buds wishes, visitation and funeral have been respectfully omitted. His ashes will be scattered in the ocean at a later date. It was Buds request and desire, that in lieu of flowers, any donations in his memory be made to his daughter and caregiver, Wendy, who despite great challenges, sacrifices and devastating circumstances at her home in MA continued very proudly providing Bud with relentless extraordinary care, love and devotion at Buds home in Florida as he wished, for many years. For the last six years, Wendy spend months listening and writing the stories of his life.
