Obituary: DONAT R. PARENT, 84, died 2, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Mr. Parent had previously been a resident of Nashua, New Hampshire before moving to Indiantown, Florida in 1987. He worked in the railroad industry and was employed by the Boston and Maine Railroad for 45 years. Mr. Parent had also served as a union representative for the Boiler Makers Union in Boston, MA. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served our country in World War II, in addition to being a member of the Constabulary after World War II in Europe. Mr. Parent was a member of the VFW in Indiantown, as well as the BPOE in Chelmsford, MA. He was of Catholic faith and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Mr. Parent is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris Parent of Indiantown, FL; daughter, Gail Brown (Robert) of Indiantown, FL; son, Alan Parent (Louise) of Derry, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Nathan, Heather, Taylor and Katie; great grandchildren, Noah, Abigail, Andrew, Reagan, and Vance, and one brother, Alphee Parent of Chester, Vermont. Mr. Parent was predeceased by his brothers, Roger, Arthur, Lucien, and Robert. A memorial service will be held on 7, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Indiantown, Florida at 5:00 PM. Obituary: MOUNT DORA, FLORIDA- Mr. Daniel L. Parent, 89, of Mount Dora, Florida, formerly of Salem and Beverly, beloved husband of Patricia (McLaughlin) Parent, died 25, 2016 at The Edgewater at Waterman Village, Mount Dora, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Samuel and Stephanie (Zarnowska) Parent. An honorably discharged veteran, Daniel proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during World War II. A well-known and generous man with his time, after serving his country, Dan was the youngest person ever elected, President of the Beverly City Council. A post he later resigned to accept a promotional transfer with IBM. In 1966 after returning to Massachusetts as a District Manager, of IBM, Dan was elected the Democratic Nominee for the United States House of Representatives of the sixth Congressional District. Mr. Parent had a long an illustrious career with IBM Corporation holding several Managerial positions throughout the country for over thirty years. He was a third and fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, which he received an honorary life membership and was also a former member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. A loving husband and father, he will be forever remembered for his dedication to his family and to his community. His community will remember him of being of caring spirit; he volunteered and served as Long Term Ombudsman for the state of Florida for over 5 years and he also will be remembered as an active member and Eucharistic minister of the Catholic Church. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Surviving Dan, in addition to his wife of 64 years, Patricia, are his two daughters, Mary Ann Hoth and her husband John of Barrington, Illinois and Carolyn Parent of Le-Mesil-Le Roi, France, and his 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass will be held in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, North St., Salem/Peabody line on 28th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in St. Marys , Salem. Obituary: Paremske, Carol Ann Lunskis 76, of Tampa, passed away at Tampa General Hospital on 15, 2014, with her family by her side. Born in Plattsburgh NY, a self-described “Army Brat”, Carol lived in many places throughout the USA, but found a home for life in Tampa in 1968. Professionally, Carol worked at Al Worley Realty, Coldwell Banker, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Investments, but the best job she had was being the homemaker and mother to her four sons Mathew, Jonathan, Mark and Andrew. She was an avid bowler and league secretary for many years, but her two real passions were family and cooking. In her own words She was “A child of the 50’s she was devoted to making a comfortable home for her family and friends. Loved Thanksgiving and Christmas for the gathering of her loved ones.” Carol is survived by her Brothers Charles F. Lunskis, Michael J. Lunskis, Timothy P. Lunskis (Marilyn); her Sons Matthew T. (Sandra), Mark E. Paremske, her Grandsons Matthew, Michael, and Nicholas Paremske; her Nephews Charles “Chuck” Lunskis, and Christopher Lunskis; her Niece Katie Lunskis. She was preceded in death by her Parents Lt. Col. Charles P. and Rose M. Lunskis; Sons Jonathan A. Paremske and Andrew F. Paremske. A Memorial service will be held at Blount & Curry 605 S.
