Obituary: Lauren Michelle Pacek, a gift from God, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2011, one day after her 16th birthday. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Peter Pacuk. Left to cherish the memory of their hero are her parents, Polly and John Pacek of Saint Johns, FL, grandparents, Irene Pacuk of Jacksonville, FL, Charlotte and Jim Weaver of Saint Johns, FL, aunts and uncles, Ron and Jayne Roberts of Jacksonville, FL, Chris and Kathy Weaver of Monument, CO, Debbie Weaver and Jim Liedle of Absarokee, Montana, and Andy and Jamie Deeds of Larkspur, CO, cousins, Jeffrey, Andy, Brian, and Kevin Roberts of Jacksonville, FL, Jason and Shanna Weaver of New Brighton, MN, Ryan Weaver of California, and Casey, Conner, & Charlie Deeds of Larkspur, CO, and her Cat, Cuddles. Lauren touched many lives; everyone she met became a special friend. The family is especially grateful for the role her pediatrician, Dr. Irene Malesic and cardiologist, Dr. F Jay Fricker, head of pediatric cardiology at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida played in her life. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Laurens life will be held at 11:00am on 4th at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9800 Baymeadows Road, in Jacksonville Florida with Fr. Greg Fay as Celebrant. Obituary: PACE, Vivian Holley, age 93, of Plant City, Florida passed away on 29, 2017. Vivian was born in Canisteo, New York on 1, 1923 to William and Fannie Mae (Bowles) Holley. She was a factory worker for Westinghouse and a produce clerk for a grocer in Corning, New York before moving to Florida in 1961. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John H. Pace; her sister, Rena Giallanza; and three stepchildren, John H. Pace Jr., Velma Hargrave and Leda Gray. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Pace; and three stepdaughters, Stowe, Pauline Jones (Albert), Lila Peters; brother, Larry Allen (Ruth); and many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Obituary: Eulogy for my dad I see friends and relatives that have come great distances to be here for my Dad. I am humbled and quite frankly impressed at how he must have touched your lives. I can only speak for myself, but when I think of how he touched my life, the first word that comes to mind is admiration. I am who I am today largely because of my dad. I am my fathers daughter for sure. He taught me to be strong and it has helped me all my life through lifes tough journey. Growing up with Vinny Pace was the best ever and I would not have changed one thing it was not always a bed of roses as he never let any of us get away with anything Little Vinny, Regina and Kevin were always kept in check and of course our beautiful mom Gladys was teaching us right from wrong to back him up! . Our parents made sure we did have the best childhood ever and all of our close relatives were always close by! The Pace family was the best and dad always made sure we did have the best time ever. Our household was full of laughter thanks to our dad and all of his siblings and all of my cousins! As crazy and tough on the exterior as he appeared to be we all know he was just a kitten on the inside. Oh yes and lets not forget my Nanny she adored him like a son! We all know my dad is special but to me he was my hero! . I was his first born and we shared memories that I will hold dear to my heart forever. His grandchildren Jose, Cristina, Jennifer, Anthony, Taylor and Gabriella idolized him oh yes and there were great grandchildren! Lily and Issabella and My dad never met a stranger, there are so many stories that I can tell about my dad that would have you all rolling on the floor well you all know Vinny Pace for he was a character one that will not be forgotten and one that will me greatly missed I know that he is in a better place making friends and you know him he will be known as the funniest angel in heaven. |
