She and her husband moved to New Port Richey, FL in 1989 and then to Tallahassee in 2001. Jean was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband. Obituary: Pace, Grover Glenn, 67, of Plant City, Florida went to be with the Lord on , 13, 2015 after a heroic battle with cancer and prolonged illness at South Florida Baptist Hospital (SFBH). He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Willis & Alma Pace of Hendersonville, NC. He is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam C. Pace, his son, Greg Pace; daughter, Peggy Tittle and seven grandchildren. He served 6 years in the U.S. Air Force at Offutt AFB in Nebraska, achieving the rank of S.SGT. He retired from General Electric in Hendersonville, NC in 2004. He and his wife, Miriam, moved to Florida in 2006. He attended the Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church where he served as a musician(guitarist); Director of the Golden Heirs Seniors' Program and served as Chairman of the Escort Committee at SFBH. he was a compassionate and loyal caregiver to his wife's parents, Rev. James and Ethelene Stuart until their passing in 2013. He had a passion for southern gospel and bluegrass music; enjoyed his home recording studio, fishing and a previous hobby as a certified Amateur Radio Operator. A memorial service will be held on , 21, 2015, 11:30am at Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church 14150 Holiness Church Rd Dover, FL 33527. Fellowship with the family and friends with lunch immediately following. Interment will be held at a later date in Hendersonville, NC. |

Obituary: GEORGE De PACE, 72, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away 19, 2017 at Miami VA care System in Miami, FL. Born in Brooklyn, NY, George was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL for many years. During the Viet Nam War, Mr. De Pace served our country in the US Army. Prior to retirement, he was a diesel mechanic for the city of New York Fire Department and Parks & Recreation Department. George was a lifetime member of the VFW in NY; the Viet Nam Veterans of American, Chapter 566, NY and charter member of chapter 82 in Nassau , NY. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Joy De Pace of Port St. Lucie, FL; one son, Robert De Pace and his wife Maria of Oceanside, NY; one daughter, Jennifer De Pace of Rincon, GA; and five grandchildren, Kathryn Babineau, Daniel Babineau, Olivia Britton, Nicole De Pace and Vincent De Pace. Obituary: Erlene C. Pace was born on 1, 1932 in Mount Washington, KY to her parents Frank and Maedell Carrithers. She passed away on 8, 2016 in Ft. Myers, FL at the age of 84. Erlene is survived by her 5 children Linda Pace Gonsalves, Glenn (Donna) Pace, Mark Pace, Jerry Pace, and Susan Pace-Greer; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother in law Charles Thayer; and her sister in law Phyllis Carrithers; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. Erlene was a Navy wife of over 20 years and spent most of her career as an office manager and administrator. She retired with over 20 years committed to Florida Mining and Materials. Erlene loved to play bridge with her friends, enjoyed traveling, and most of all being with her family. Erlene was an honorable lady who provided the best of guidance to her family. She taught us to never judge based upon looks or color of skin. Always treat others the way you would want to be treated and that forgiveness is key to happiness. Everyone deserves a second chance. Erlenes final wish was to have cremation and a private family celebration of her life. In her memory, you may make a donation to ASPCA, any animal refuge, or to Hope Hospice in lieu of flowers.
