Obituary: TRIBUTE TO NOSIMOT BOLA ONATOLU We can study history and philosophy and Platos ideology but tomorrows still a mystery. Tomorrow is your opportunity to fail or be successful if you please. So if we die someday, the question is, Will we be in heavenly places? Singing halleluyah with an angel? Or will we be just another contribution to the earth, the trees, the grasses\ My beloved Bola, it is often said how time flies when one is having a good time. Time has flown without taking cognizance of it in this blessed and loving relationship that I had with you for 35 years as a friend and sister. Where do I start from? Is it when I met you after the birth of your second baby? Or is it the fact that we have grown into confidants who understood each others thoughts and possible actions? It was such a shock to hear. Bola was such a kind and compassionate person who did so much for others. She has been a great person and I will be ever thankful for having had the opportunity to know her. My dear Bola you had the virtue of being a tireless worker, you encouraged me when I needed someone to do so. You provided a shoulder to cry on, a hand to walk with, a hug for the warmth of friendship and your feet for me during the tiring periods. It is sad that my sister has been taken by death as we prepared for the Wedding of her son Kehinde due in 2013. Bola, I thought we will always be together for each other, year in, year out! I thought we will always share love and joy together and even if we had to relieve each other in pain, you will still have provided a shoulder for me to cry and comfort each other on but evil had its other plans and stole you away from us. To her husband and family, I say how very sad to be hit by the death of a virtuous woman. She was a great person and a joy to know. She was a true inspiration to all of us who knew her and she will be sorely missed. I will always have such fond memories of all of our good times together. However, please take solace in God because he is the only one that can console us. Let us use this sad event as an opportunity to rely on God, pray to God and put in his service the same time and vigor we put in secular work. My consolation remains in the fact that Bola will be rewarded by the GOD of justice whom we all serve, the Supreme Being who rewards all good done by His creation.
