Obituary: Luana Lawson Ostler May 24, 1926 - Jul 30, 2015 Luana Lawson Ostler May 24,1926 ~ 30, 2015 Luana passed away peacefully surrounded by family on , 30, 2015. Luana married Robert L. Ostler on 28, 1942. Together they raised a family of eight children: Paul (Toni), Bruce (Jean), Mike (Roberta), Randy (Anita), Cindy, Boyd (LeAnn), Rick and Deb (Robert). She is survived by her eight children, 26 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren. Luana is loved by all and will be truly missed with her quick wit and her piss and vinegar attitude. She loved to tell stories and talk about days passed. She is preceded in death by her husband, grandson, seven siblings and parents. Special thanks to Deb and Robert for all the years of care that they provided for grandma and opening up their home to take care of her. There is not enough gratitude for what they have done for grandma. Graveside services will be held 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S. A Viewing will be held on 4, 2015, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal , 4330 South Redwood Road and 11:30-12:30 p.m. |

Obituary: Ina LaRee Ostler, 81, of Orem, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep on 19, 2011. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 25, 1929, to Dorman and LaRee Willett. She was the oldest of three children. When she was five her family moved to Orem where her father ran the Tourist Market. She attended Lindon Elementary, and Pleasant Grove area schools where she was a member of the Pep Club and graduated in 1947. She attended beauty school in Provo, and received her beautician license, which became her lifelong profession. On 16th, 1949, she married her high school sweetheart Darrold E. Ostler in the Salt Lake Temple. were blessed with four children. She enjoyed working in the yard, crocheting, and finding a good bargain. Her family was very important to her and she made many sacrifices in their behalf. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving in many church callings, her favorite being Relief Society President. She enjoyed serving others and accomplished this by using her talent as a beautician in local rest homes around the community. She is survived by her loving husband Darrold, and four children: Mike, Denise, Brad, and Blake, one sister Jeannine, and one brother Dorman Ellis Jr., 18 grandchildren and 12+ great-grandchildren. Her parents Dorman and LaRee Willett preceded her in death. Services will be held 26, at 11:00 a.m. at the Windsor 4th Ward, 1875 North 280 West Orem, Utah. Friends may visit with the family evening at the church from 6-8 p.m. and again from 9:30-10:30 prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Orem City . |
