Obituary: Juanita Owen, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home in West Milton on the 12th of , surrounded by her family. Juanita was born in Piqua, Ohio on the 1st of ,1933. Juanita was a very passionate woman who poured her heart and soul into caring for the people that she loved. She left an impression in the hearts of everyone she met because of the way she lived her life through the power of the Lord. Since 1964, she was active member of Hoffman United Methodist Church in West Milton. With her husband, they fostered close to 100 children over a period of about fifteen years, she donated to ChildFund International USA for over 30 years, and went out on multiple mission trips with her church. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Wesley A. Owen, her parents James and Kathryn Wooddell, her sister Shirley Ann Wooddell, her brother Herbert Wooddell, and her daughter Carol Ann Owen. She is survived by her five siblings; James Wooddell and wife Iris, sister-in-law Lee Wooddell, Patricia Hubler and husband Harry, Doug Wooddell, Marvin Wooddell and wife Marge, three children; Timothy Owen and wife Susan, Kathy Hagemeyer and husband J.R., and her youngest daughter Cheryl Owen. She has five grandchildren; Adrienne Beaty and husband James, Krystle Gunder and husband Michael, Hillary Kihm and husband Joe, Michelle Elliott and husband James, Lindsay Roock and husband Daniel. Juanita also leaves behind her precious eleven great grandchildren who provided her smiles up until the moment she passed. In celebration of Juanitas life, visitation will be held at Hale-Sarver in West Milton on 15th from 4pm-8pm. services will be held at Hoffman United Methodist Church on 16th at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice of Miami , PO Box 502 Troy, OH 45373. |
