She is survived by her husband, Terry Ourso; mother, Madora Legendre; two sisters, Mitzi Clifton and Janice Rome (Ronnie); one brother, Todd Legendre (Jill); two nieces, Abby Acosta (Joseph) and Meggie Clifton; three nephews, Kyle Rome, Austin and Brennan Legendre. Minnie served as President of the Ladies Altar Society since 1995, and a Lector and Commentator for 11 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Obituary: Ernest Lee Ourso, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on , 3, 2021, at the age of 93. He was born on 13, 1928, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, the son of the late Nidas J. Ourso and Hilda Barrios Ourso. Ernest was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for Louisiana Cypress Lumber for 38 years. He and Ruth have been lifelong members of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was also an usher and a custodian for the school for many years. Ernest loved hunting, fishing, and LSU football. He was a wonderful husband and father that loved his family. Ernest leaves many happy memories for his family and friends to cherish. Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Ruth Duplessis Ourso; children, Joan Fuselier (Keith), Audrey Ramirez (Lloyd), Rose Harper (Ricky), Paul Ourso (Vickie), Donna Pittman (CharlesWayne), Mary Alice Peterson (Jeff), Kathy Ourso (Pam), and Ernest Ourso, Jr. (Jeremy); 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sister, Jeanette Rushing; brother, Sidney Ourso (Julia); and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell, Vincent J., Freddy T-Fred, and Jimmy Ourso. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Kendall Graffith, Kay Kay Gannon, and the staff of Cannon Hospice Group, as well as all of those that said prayers, brought food, and came to visit Ernest and the family. Obituary: Carol "Suzi" Ingram Ourso, 62, of Ponchatoula, passed away , 24, 2014, at her residence. She was born on May 5, 1952, in Morgan City, daughter of the late Jesse and Doris McLain Ingram. Surviving are her husband, Paul Nedos Ourso; her six children, Rachel Michel, Derrin Barras, Carissa Muller, Adam Ourso, Samantha Kugler, and Christina Ourso; 11 grandchildren, Katilin Gentry, Hunter Michel, Bryson Barras, Bradon Barras, Bennett Reed, Arden Reed, Madisyn Ourso, Adam Ourso, Jr., Myah Kugler, Reed Kugler, and Baylynn LaMarca; her sister, Gail Ewing; and brother, Douglas Ingram. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Pierce Muller. Friends will be received , 26, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son - Ponchatoula, and after 8:00 am on , 27, 2014 until religious services at 10:30 am in the Chapel. Interment will follow in St. John Memorial. |
