Obituary: DONNA MAE OLTMANNS (ZIESEMER) Age 77, of Lockport, passed away , May 6th, 2015 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. Donna Mae is survived by her loving family, husband, Richard Oltmanns, children, Merri Hauter, Jim (Dawn) Oltmanns, Deborah Mellas, daughter-in-law, Kellie (Nick) Nahas, grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Lovelass, Lisa Hauter, Becky Fronek, Dave Fronek, Jolene (Ryan) Trost, Nicole Adair, Courtney Adair, Mitchell Adair, Andrew Mellas, Krisxan Mellas, Angela Wiedle, great granddaughter, Lillian Bug Trost and many nieces and nephews. Donna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, William Ziesemer & Bertha Krohn-Anderson, son, Richard W. Oltmanns, daughter-in-law, Nancy Oltmanns, siblings, Virgil Borchart, Dorothy Ely, William Ziesemer, Charles Ziesemer, Betty McNeeley and granddaughter Andrea Mellas. Donna Mae was an avid Chicago sports fan & longtime camping member of the Wilmington Recreation Club. She was also a member of the Lockport grade school and high school Band Booster Club. Donna Mae enjoyed spending time in her flower gardens and was a gifted and talented ceramicist. She was a lifelong Lutheran and up until 2011 was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Lockport serving as the Chairman of the Quilting Club producing many quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on , May 9th, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on , May 11th, 2015 at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, 925 E. 9th Street, Lockport, IL 60441 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to VITAS hospice or the American Lung Cancer Association, would be appreciated.
