Obituary: LYNN MARIE NOYCE 47 of Palmdale Ca. passed away Sep. 22 2017 due to a fatal car accident in Tehachapi, Ca. Lynn was born on 15 1970 in Downey Ca. She was the daughter of James and Patricia Haga. Lynn was a mother of three. She graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1988. Lynn was employed by the Department of Corrections as a Corrections officer in Tehachapi Ca for 24 years. As a fellow corrections officer said Few can be as guarded as she could, command respect, not offend, AND reveal an innocent soul. She implemented that in her everyday life. She was a kind person, great mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her parents James and Patricia Haga. Husband Eric Noyce. Obituary: Wanda Noya was born in Merced, California on May 29, 1933 and passed on at home surrounded by family on , 23, 2015 at the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of Roy Donald Forsyth and Esther H. Montgomery. She was raised by her mom and stepfather, Thomas S. Blackman (Pop). Wanda graduated from Merced High School in 1951, where she met the love of her life, Marvin F. Noya. wed on 1, 1952 in Warrensburg, Missouri. While her husband served in the U.S. Air Force in Washington D.C., she had their first two children. In 1955 they returned to Merced and later had their two other children. Wanda was an avid reader, baker, artist, gardener, and 49er fan. She loved spending time with Marvin and family traveling, cruising, rving, swimming, and playing cards or board games. She loved being a homemaker, worked as a floor supervisor at Newberrys and attended classes at Merced Junior . She was an active part of PTA, 2 RV Clubs and the Italian Catholic Federation. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Marvin; four children, Stephen T. Noya, Michele A. Crowe, Jeffrey F. Noya (Phyllis), and Michael M. Noya (Diane); 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The rosary will be held on , 29, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. with the funeral mass following at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 671 East Yosemite Avenue, Merced. Interment will follow at San Joaquin Valley National in Santa Nella, California. The family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1101 Sylvan Avenue, Ste. C-105 Modesto, CA 95350, Bristol Hospice, 374 E. Yosemite Avenue, #200, Merced, CA 95340, or to a charity of your choice. She and the family want to thank Covenant , Dr. Adrian, Dr. Sidhu, and all the staff and nurses of Bristol Hospice for care and compassion that was given to her. |

Obituary: Rhea Michelle Noxon died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on 17, 2015, in Winchester, California. She was born on 5, 1968, in Orange, California. She was predeceased by her mother, Bethel Elaine Hall in 1996. Rhea is survived by Arthur Noxon, Nilo, Max, and Nikola Noxon; and by David Strutt, Jason, and Andrew Strutt. Rhea graduated from Delphi School in Sheridan, OR, after attending Orange High School. her mother passed away, she moved north again and became a volunteer EMT and swimming instructor in Mt. Vernon, WA. Here she developed her passion for painting and cooking. More recently she completed Medical Office Assistant certification, but preferred to paint and bake. Rhea loved teaching art work, and traveled once to Mexico to work with children. She had them create life-sized images of themselves on foam sheets, and then had them cut out and decorate them. In exchanging these cut-outs with other children, they learned to identify themselves visually. She moved to Hawaii in 2013, and continued to cook and paint. In Kailua Kona, she formed the Black Market Pie . Rhea settled in to Hawaii as though she were meant to be there. She loved the pace, the rhythm, the sea, and the sound of coffee pickers singing in the distance. Her soul mate at the end of her life was Joe Barron, an old friend from her early days at Orange High School, who lived with her to the very end. Her funeral service will be at Wiefels Mortuary Chapel in Palm Springs at 11am on 28, 2015, and the graveside service will be a green burial at Joshua Tree Memorial Park in Yucca Valley later that day at 3pm.
