Obituary: Charles Bernard Newton Sr., age 82 passed away at Mary Washington Hospital on 27, 2015. Mr. Newton is survived by his wife of 60 years Ruth Newton, daughter-n-law Kathy Newton, step grandchildren Shane Nelson, Jessica Sherfield, four great grandchildren Connie Groover, Jase Nelson, Monica Sherfield, and Aaron Sherfield. Bernard served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He retired from Purvis Ford where he did diagnostics and state inspections. Bernard was a proud member of the Pattawomeck Indian tribe of VA. Bernard is predeceased by his father Mack Newton, mother Becky Newton, a son Charles B. Newton Jr. and a granddaughter Tensley A. Newton. He is also survived by numerous Uncles, Aunts, nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends on , 30, 2015 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and , 31, 2015 from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm.
