Obituary: Heaven has a new angel now since Violet Falk Naivar passed away on 7, 2015.
She was born 25, 1925 in Industry, Texas to Richard and Alma (Luetge) Falk.

The family moved to the Beyersville area and then to Taylor where she graduated from Taylor High School.
On 17, 1947 Violet married Clifton R. Naivar and they lived their married life in Taylor loved to polka and waltz, "Blue Skirt Waltz" being their favorite song. Family was very important and they attended several reunions each year from each of their ancestries.
She worked in different department stores, insurance agencies and for Dr. R.G. Garrett at his veterinary clinic in Taylor before accepting a position with the Texas Animal Commission in Austin, retiring from there in 1989. During her years of commuting Violet started the first daily carpool to Austin. She often had a waiting list of people wanting to ride with her due to her dependability for showing up and on time every day, her good driving record and her reliability for getting another driver when she was not going in to work that day.

Violet was an exceptional cook and her family always looked forward to her turkey and dressing (a secret recipe that she did not share and even withheld from her daughters until later in life) at holidays along with many other scrumptious foods during the year. She loved trying new recipes including canned goods, casseroles and of course desserts. Give her a new recipe and sometimes you would be sampling it the next day! She had collected enough cookbooks so that everyone in the family could each have two or three apiece. One of her greatest joys was that each of her 5 grandsons knew how to cook, guess she never expected that but then they were some of her biggest fans!

Her talents as a seamstress were legendary as she sewed for her children from birth on. Her daughters were outfitted in the newest styles from everyday clothes to holidays, Mayfetes, proms and of course weddings. Her exquisite hand sewn bead work was sought after by many for wedding gowns and veils, bridesmaid dresses and headpieces. St. Mary's School was a benefit of her talents when she made costumes for her children, grandchildren and yes, great grandchildren's classes. If there was a child who lacked a source for a costume you could count on Mrs. Naivar to fill in and sew whatever was needed.

Violet and Clifton enjoyed working with the Catholic Youth Organization when their children were members. could always be counted onto work concession stands or drive teams to volleyball and baseball games as well as being chaperones for dances and conventions. made many lasting friends and she was quite popular with the carry out boys at HEB, they usually jostled for the position of carrying out her groceries!

Violet's retirement she had the opportunity to care for some of her grandchildren and then great grandchildren full time. Oh how she loved this job! She did not often have the opportunity to drive her own children to school, birthday parties, baseball practice and so forth but in her new roleof doing this, she became known as Kylie's, Stacie's, Sadey and Alyssa's "MeMaw"or"Grandma" by many children and adults and to this day there are some that still claim her. She loved to follow softball and practice with the girls help with their homework and make arts and crafts to pass the time waiting for parents.
Violet is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Ervie and husband Milton Lange, and her brother Richard and wife Gerdie Falk.
Survivors include Daughters: Theresa and husband Ray Logan of Killeen, Tx, Linda and husband Haywood Stanford of Taylor, Tx, Rachael and husband Danny Dimitt of Bastrop, Tx. Sons: Clifton E. Naivar and wife Janie of Taylor, Tx, Cren Naivar and wife Dori of San Marcos, Tx. 8 grandchildren, 9 bonus grandchildren, and the spouses of those who are married, 15 great grandchildren, 9 bonus great grandchildren and 3 bonus great, great grandchildren. Aunt Geraldine Luetge of Industry, Tx., Brother-in-law Benny Naivar and wife Connie of Granger, Tx. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews from the Falk and Naivar sides.
Pallbearers will be: Joe, Scott and Adam Komandosky, Chris and Aaron Naivar, Philip Tharp, Kevin Oglesby, Kurt Kopczynski and Clay Logan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stacie Kopczynski, Kylie Oglesby, Sami Gentles and Celia Naivar Sen, the only grandchild who will be unable to attend the services.

The family would like to send love and special thank you to the Staff of The Cottages at Chandler Creek in Round Rock, TX
Violet loved flowers so feel free to send them. She also loved to contribute to the St. Mary's School fund in Taylor, TX
