Obituary: Rose Marie Elaine Noesges, age 91, of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at 4:42 p.m., on , 27, 2015, at Hawkeye . To honor Roses life, funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on , 1, 2015, at Holy Spirit Parish, Holy Trinity Church, 1701 Rhomberg Avenue, with Rev. Dwayne J. Thoman officiating. To celebrate Roses life, family and friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on , 31, 2015, at Behr , 1491 Main Street, where there will be a parish scripture wake service held at 5:30 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary . Rose was born on 6, 1924, in Grant , WI, daughter of Alexis and Marie B. (Lippert) Simones. Rose graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy and has been a longtime alumni member. She was blessed with 60 years of marriage after being united to Harold Noesges on 4, 1954, in Dubuque. She was a proud member of St. Marys Catholic Church and Rosary Society. Rose enjoyed animals, flowers, and photography. She has spent countless hours sharing her captured visions with her friends in the Dubuque Camera Club. Rose was also a championship archer and prominently displayed her honed abilities in many tournaments over the years. Rose and Harry thoroughly loved traveling together in their private plane and would eagerly jump in just to do a little sightseeing or visit family. Faith and family were Roses greatest treasures and both held a very cherished and secure place in her heart. She has made many friends along the way, brightened many lives and has left an abundance of memories to share with those who knew and loved her. Rose is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold Harry Noesges, Dubuque, IA; her daughter, Rose Ann Noesges, Westlake, OH; a sister-in-law, Mary Hirsch, Dubuque, IA; two nieces, Donna Slade, Dubuque, IA, Diane Burke, Dubuque, IA; and a nephew, Gary (Lynn) Hirsch, Bettendorf, IA. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; a sister-in-law, Celeste (Carl) Ehrlich; and a brother-in-law, Clarence Hirsch. A Rose Marie Elaine Noesges memorial fund has been established. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Beth, Dan, Tyler and Adam Kennedy for all of their kindness and care over the years. |
