Meyer, 81, a resident of Prairie Gardens in Sun Prairie and formerly of Beaver Dam passed away on , 18, 2013 at her home. Vaughn Evelyn was born the daughter of John and Emma (Spoehr) Ruppel on 23, 1931 in Oshkosh, WI. She was a graduate of New London High School. Vaughn was married to Robert J. Meyer on 20, 1951 in New London, WI. Vaughn was a member of Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam for over 50 years. She was a bar tender at Helbings Supper Club in Beaver Dam. Vaughn also volunteered at the Bethesda Fair for over 40 years. Vaughn is survived by her eight children: Dean (Nancy) Meyer of Watertown, Dane (Ginger) Meyer of Streamwood, IL, Gail Riedasch of Sun Prairie, Gwyn Meyer of Beaver Dam, Ward (Anne) Meyer of Windsor, WI, Cole (Pat) Meyer of Portage, Benjamin (Emily) Meyer of Plover, and Megan (Kevin) Mindham of Sun Prairie; her sister, Joyce Moss of Madison; her sister-in-law, Rosemary Ruppel of Oshkosh; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, her grandsons, Seth and Peter, her son-in-law, Gary Kirchoff, and her five brothers. services will be held at Noon on , 21, 2013 at the Koepsell , N7199 N. Obituary: Timothy I. Meyer, age 58, passed away peacefully while at home per his request, with his loving family by his side after a courageous 15-month battle with Multiple Myeloma. Tim was born to Donald and Marion (Hoover) Meyer, in Appleton, on Oct. 6, 1958. He graduated from Appleton East High School in 1977. He then began what would be a 39-year career at Foremost Farms in Plover. His last position was a Warehouse Operator, a position he took very seriously, ending in retirement in 2017 due to failing health. He married the first love of his life, Roxanne Peterson, in of 1979 in Plover. She preceded him in death on Nov. 15, 1995. Tim embraced the Catholic faith, taking classes in 2004 with the assistance of Father James Trempe and Sister Mary Ann Stoltz – a faith he found strength in during his illness. He then married the second love of his life, Karen Lutz, on Oct. 30, 2004, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. Tim and Karen joined their love of fishing to form the fishing team No Hope, a hobby he had hoped to do full-time after retirement. This led to the third love of his life, purchasing his beloved Ranger 619 fishing boat. Tims love of fishing spanned his lifetime. He was always ready to teach some tricks and knots to anyone who would endure his classes. His trophy was a 51-inch musky caught in 2001, which he proudly displayed on the living room wall. He also loved yard work and flower garden design. Tim spent many hours remodeling and re-remodeling his home, with Karen as assistant. His greatest joy was his grandchildren, who absolutely adored him. Not only for his secret stash of candy and chocolate, but his lawnmower tractor rides, that earned him the title: PaPa Tractor. He was a pushover where they were concerned and they brought him such great joy, even in the worst of days. What happened at PaPas stayed at PaPas. Tim is survived by his wife, Karen, who was by his side throughout all the trials faced in the last 15 months. He is also survived by loving sons, Shawn (Nicole) Meyer; grandsons, Ethan and Landon, Marshfield; Kody (Caitlin) Lutz; granddaughters, Anabel, Bauer and Gabriella, Stevens Point; Shane Meyer, Stevens Point; and Dalton Lutz, at home; daughters, Jessie (Al) Hintz, Stevens Point, and Katie Lutz; granddaughter, Emma, and grandson, Kole, Amherst. He is further survived by brother, Tom Meyer, Phillips; sisters, Patty (Kirby) Crosby, Tomahawk; and Sue Klein, Appleton; and brother-in-law, Thomas (Sandy) Walkush, and son Benjamin, Iola; and in-laws, Al (Mary Walkush), Stevens Point. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and friends. The family would like to thank the many people who helped in his journey: Dr. Mercier and his staff; Lynette and Ministry Hospice, who helped make his last week at home possible; Dr. Barakeh and Dr. Vang. He faced each day with a smile and tried to find something good and positive with each obstacle he faced. We were honored to have him in our lives and well greatly miss him. His pain is now gone and he is at peace. Fish the rivers of heaven, chase the musky and watch over all of us, Papa of Candy and Tractor. The Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. , Jan. 28, 2017, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. Edward Shuttleworth officiating. Burial will take place in Guardian Angel in the spring. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m. at Pisarski , 703 Second St. in Stevens Point, and again at the church on morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time for Mass.
