Obituary: James Jim McClung James Arland Jim McClung, 93, of Fairmont passed away , 26, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Braxton on 30, 1920, a son of the late Doliver Scott Joe McClung and Elva Ellen (Mollohan) McClung Mickey. Jim was owner and operator of Mountain State Marketing of Fairmont since 1989. He was a self-employed hard working man for most of his life. In his earlier years, he worked for the Vernon as a salesman, Valley Produce in Fairmont, Big Elm in Shinnston and Valley Market in Elkins. He attended Braxton School, Meat Cutting School in Toledo, Ohio and Cincinnati Bible . He worked in Radio Ministry and was a traveling Evangelist. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Fairmont where he taught School. He and his wife were founders of the First Nazarene Church in Shinnston where he served as a Lay Minister. He truly enjoyed and loved working and being out visiting with his customers. He also enjoyed working in his yard. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Josephine Jo (Guido) McClung of Fairmont, four sons, James Arland McClung and his wife Phyllis of Tennessee, Scott McClung and his wife Cindy of Arizona, David McClung of Fairmont and Paul McClung of New Hampshire, four daughters, Joan Owens of Fairmont, Judith Keener and her husband Jerry of Rivesville, Sheila McClung of New Hampshire, Arlene Boone and her husband Jeff of Farmington #9, 16 grandchildren, Debbie and Richard Stevenski, Sherry and Rick Sesito, Tina McClung, Katie McClung, Clint McClung, Amanda and Sean Williamson, Laura and Keith Knight, Craig and Janna McClung, Logan and Charlene Boone, Rachel Boone, Kristofer McClung, Brittany Owens, Michael Short, Shawn Stutler, Danny Stutler and Levi Carpenter, 17 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a step-son, Joseph Carpenter of Fairmont, a step-daughter, Becky Stanley and her husband George of Martinsburg, a sister, Betty Jo Finamore of Fairmont and a sister-in-law, Virginia Harris of Boothsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Rollyson and Efiba Kyer, three brothers, Donald McClung and two in infancy and three grandchildren, Joey Keener, Rickey Gibson and Rita Wainscott Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford , 209 Merchant St. Fairmont on from 1-8 pm and from 10-11 am at the First Church of the Nazarene. The funeral service will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1604 Morgantown Ave., Fairmont on , 30, 2014 at 11 am with Rev. Larry Barkley and Rev. Richard Fluharty officiating.
