Obituary: Nobi Miyazaki, 89, born 12, 1924, in Seattle, passed away peacefully on 2, 2014, surrounded by family. She grew up in the Belltown area of Seattle.

Her family was interned to the Puyallup Fairgrounds and then relocated to Minidoka Internment Camp, in Idaho, during World War II. While in camp, she graduated from Hunt High School, class of 1943.

Minidoka, she went to Kansas City, Missouri, to work for a family as a nanny and kitchen help. While there she graduated from Keister's Tailoring , in 1946.
