Obituary: William Bill Joseph McCloskey died suddenly at the age of 48 while working at the Everett Boeing Facility on 24, 2017. Bill was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School in 1986. He served in the United States Navy in Norfolk, Virginia. He was enlisted and worked on aircraft. He spent the rest of his adult life in aviation. He moved to Washington State in 1998. He met his wife Angela and was a co-worker, a babysitter, and a roommate to her before marrying her in 2001. He was a loving father to Ciara, and daughter Azlin joined the family in 2002. Bill was the Anchor for his family and extended family. He was also a lifelong Pittsburg Steelers & SPAM fan. Bill was the go to person that could fix anything and would be the first to volunteer for anything. He was the youngest of 8 and often joked about being the favorite. He never lost his Texas pride even after living in Washington State for 18 years. He leaves behind a strong legacy of his loving, giving character. In the last year of his life he was a strong supporter and mentor in the Pacific NW Junior Roller Derby where he often stepped in as a father figure to many. Bill is survived by his beloved wife Angela; daughters Ciara & Azlin; grandson Landyn; his mother Katherine; siblings Mary, Patty, Vickey, Cile, Susie, Eddie and Karen; 17 nieces & nephews; and 21 great nieces & nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father Edward McCloskey. With his daughter Azlin there is a fond memory of Don Forget. With Bill, it was never goodbye, always See ya Later. Love you, see ya later. Services will be held at Carlton Farms in Lake Stevens, WA on 7th at 3pm |

Obituary: McCloskey, Ronald C. (Age 77) Passed away 12, 2016 in Spokane, WA. Ron was born on 1, 1939 in Watsonville, CA. He graduated from Watsonville High School in 1956, and from Westmont in 1960, where he played basketball and met his wife Sharon. Last they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Ron attended Fuller Seminary where he studied theology but a growing family caused their plans to change. He began his career as a builder/developer in California. In 1975, the family moved to Spokane, WA where Ron continued his work as a contractor and became active in his church, Northview Bible Church. Following his retirement he continued to be involved with several building projects for local ministries, including Salvation Army, Youth for Christ, Cup of Cool Water, and others. What brought him the most joy was his large family which grew from a family of six upon their arrival in Spokane to a family of 36 today which includes five great-grandbabies. He was devoted to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, which was demonstrated by his service and generosity to others. Ron is survived by his wife, Sharon; his brother, Gerald (Kay) McCloskey of Los Gatos, California; his four children, Tammie (Ken) Pecka, Natalie Wilkes, Jeff (Sherri) McCloskey and Kathleen (Jason) Hanson; fifteen grandchildren and their spouses; and five great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Northview Bible Church, 13521 N. Mill Rd., Spokane, WA, , 16, 2016, 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Union Gospel Mission or Youth for Christ. |
