Obituary: MARTIN, Cleveland B Jr., 68, of Sandston, passed away 8, 2016. He was a long time employee of Media General, and enjoyed farming, fishing, and watching football and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Frances Martin; and brother, Ernie Martin. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sue Martin; sister, Janet Craddock; nephews, Keenan Eberhard and Douglas Martin; nieces, Sarah Martin and Tammy Wells; great-nephew, Keenan Eberhard Jr.; great-niece, Kayden Eberhard; special sisters-in-law, Shelva Meade and Shirley Hill; friend of many years, Mitch Guidt; and a number of other close friends. Visitation will be held at Nelsen Laburnum from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on 12, 2016. Services will be held at Nelsen Laburnum at 12 pm on 13, 2016. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. Obituary: Claude Douglas Doug Martin Jr., 81, passed away peacefully at home on , Feb. 26, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Todd and Annie Martin; brother, Charles B. Martin; sisters, Fannie Alice Barker and Norma Neitch; and grandson, Levi Walker Martin. Survivors include his wife, Brenda P. Martin; Children, Claude D. Buzz Martin III and wife Terri, Teresa Harris, Dougie Martin and Misty, and A.J. Martin and wife Nikki; grandchildren, Tennille Johnson-Ochoa, Brandie White, Daniel Martin, Kayla and Ben Bolling, Tyler Harris, Ethan Martin, and Todd Martin; sister, Dorothy Blevins; his four legged granddog, Jackson; seven great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to David Wetzel for his love and support and to Hospice of Southwest Va. for their care. In keeping with Dougs wishes he will be cremated with no public visitation or funeral. Friends and family are welcome at his home, 160 Grinstead Hill Rd. Chilhowie, Va. 24319.
