Obituary: ABCM (Retired) Michael K. Martin, age 69, a resident of Williamsburg, Virginia (previously Virginia Beach, VA) passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on 27, 2015 after battling cancer for the past year. Michael retired from the United States Navy in 1991 after having served 29 honorable years. He entered the civilian sector and worked for 17 years for Illinois Tool Works (formerly American Safety, Inc.). Michael was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on 29, 1945 to Bobbie Jean Martin (deceased) and Carleton Martin (deceased). He is survived by his wife, Patricia Martin and children, Michael Martin, Jr., Kelli Brzak (Robert), Kenneth Crosley (Mary), Richard Crosley, Dawn Curran (Valentine) and grandchildren, Michael Martin, Courtney Martin, Hunter Brzak, Kenneth Crosley, Matthew Crosley, Rachael Crosley, Jessica Crosley, Kiely Curran and Abigail Curran. His brother, Douglas Martin and Brian Logsdon (deceased), and his Aunt, Dorothy Riddle and Uncle Russell Riddle in addition to numerous in-laws and cousins. Services will be held at Nelsen and Crematory, 3785 Strawberry Plains, Road, Williamsburg, VA on , 29 from 4-8 p.m. A mass will follow on , at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bede Church, Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA. Burial will be at Arlington National at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Hospice House, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA., 23188, American Cancer Society, P.O.
