Obituary: Theron Arthur Moss 06/11/1932 ~ 12/22/2010 Our loving Husband, Father, Brother, and Friend, Theron A. Moss passed away 22, 2010 surrounded by his family. Theron was born 11, 1932 in his grandmothers house in Moroni, Utah. Theron was named after his grandfather, Theron Syme who had passed away just months before Theron was born. His parents were, Arthur L. Moss and Ruth Elizabeth Syme. He was the big brother to two sweet sisters Winnie (Bob) Fiack and Ardith (Alton) Thygerson. His early education started in Moroni and later his family moved to Standardville, Utah where he graduated from Carbon High School in Price, Utah. He graduated from Utah State Univ. with a BS in Agriculture. Later, he obtained a MS in Social Work from the U of U. He was an ardent fan of both schools. His studies at USU were interrupted by the Korean War. He joined the Army and was stationed in Germany. Jean Gustavson, his sweetheart from USU joined him there where they were married. Over the years, they had 6 beautiful children, Bob; the oldest and only boy, and 5 sisters; Rebecca, Mary, Peggy, JoEllen and Sara. Theron developed a special relationship with granddaughter, Amanda who suffered the loss of her family in the deaths of her mother, Peggy and her brother, Chance. Jean and Theron were later divorced. Theron met and married Shirley Murphy. Another beautiful daughter, Shannon was added to the family. Shirley passed away, Theron met up with and married his high school sweetheart, Arva L. Cox in 1998. This added three step-sons and 12 step grandchildren to his family. He enjoyed the growth of his family, in all, having now 22 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way. His wife, Arva, and all who were close to him will miss and always love him. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, Shirley; brother-in-law, Bob Fiack; niece, Whitney; daughter, Peggy and grandson, Chance. Services for Theron will be held , 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View . The family will receive friends at a visitation evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Valley View , and one hour prior to the service on . Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Obituary: LuJean R. Moss passed away at her home on , 23rd, 2011, at age 73, after dealing for 3 ½ years with the effects of a stroke. LuJean was born 27, 1937, to Kenneth Larsen Robinson and Lucy Evans in American Fork, Utah. She was the second child in her family, with three brothers, Grant (Mary Jean), Dale, Clyde (Janice), and two sisters, Ruth (Gary), and Jill. On 4, 1957, she married Dan Edgar Moss in the Salt Lake Temple. had six children: Brad (Dana), Clark (Sharon), Ed (Celecta), Michelle (Jim), Blaine (Amalie), and Chris (Ben), 30 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. LuJean grew up and lived in the same house in American Fork until she was married. graduation from American Fork High School in 1956, she attended Brigham Young University, then met and married Dan. lived in Nebraska, American Fork, Cedar Ciy, Stansbury Park, Orem, and Provo, Utah. LuJean enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. She was also passionate about music, singing, piano, and organ. She enjoyed scrapbooking, knitting, needlework, housework, and cooking. Her family and fellow Church members came first, and she served each of them tirelessly. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many callings, including president of Relief Society, Young Women’s, and Primary. Honoring her wishes, no viewing will be held. services will be held 11:00 a.m., , 29th, 2011, in the Orem Stonewood Stake located at 100 West 450 South, Orem, UT.
