Obituary: Jeremy Lane Morris Jeremy Lane Morris of Saratoga Springs UT passed away at the age of 33 on 22, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Jeremy was born on May 15, 1980 in Provo UT, the third and youngest child of James Kevin and Dianne Raddatz Morris. Most of his life was spent in Orem UT, where he attended both Orem High School and Timpanogos High School, graduating from Timpanogos in 1998. He attended Utah Valley University briefly before leaving to serve as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1999, serving for a short time in the Canada Montreal (French-speaking) Mission. recovering from an injury (during which time he served in the Utah Provo Mission) he was assigned to the Missouri St. Louis Mission, where he served the remainder of his two-year assignment honorably. Jeremy loved the people he served there, and that love never diminished a whit. Jeremy had a great and abiding love for and faith in Jesus Christ. He was an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings and Church assignments. He understood and practiced the pure love of Christ; thus, people were drawn lovingly to him. No one could resist his love, humor, or positive outlook. He had no agendas. No ulterior motives. No selfishness. He went about doing good for all he knew, because that was who he was. No matter the heart-break or difficulties that came, Jer endured all quietly and with great dignity, never answering unkindness with unkindness. He could raise the spirit of an individual or a group with an amazing sense of humor that is difficult to describe but impossible to forget, once experienced. Jeremy married Heidi Cragun in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on 12, 2002. His two wonderful children, Ashton McKenney (10) and Belle (7) are his pride and joy; he loves them with all of his heart and treasured every minute he was able to spend with them. His last act on this Earth, just minutes before he was taken, was one of generous, selfless love for his beloved Ashton and Belle. His nephews and nieces are as dear to him as his own children. Countless are the hours he spent at their Jr. Jazz basketball and city football and soccer league games, cheering them all on; and then spending treasured time in the backyard with them, encouraging them and his children to improve their skills and deepen their love for the games he loved so dearly. Various jobs occupied Jeremy through the years, but the ones he loved and excelled at were those that allowed him access to people. Traveling around the country for years with Rich Dad Education, he met and influenced many people, and created or strengthened friendships that will stand forever. And he leaves now many, many friends at Vivint whom he loves, and who love him. He took calls daily from customers who were upset when they called but happy and loyal when they hung up the phone. Such capacity as a loving, peacemaking human being was a gift. With an incredible analytical understanding of them all, Jeremy loved sports of all kinds. In his many travels he made it a point to attend games at as many stadiums as possible, including Yankee Stadium just before it was demolished. He loved a good rivalry, especially BYU-Utah and Jazz-Lakers, but he never lost his sense of humor about them and happily traded good-natured jabs with his friendly foes. He was a die-hard Cardinals fan and followed the team as if each player were a member of his family. He loved to be involved in coaching in whatever way presented itself. For a time, he assisted with the Timpanogos High football team. Next month, he would have joined his brother, Kristopher, in coaching a nephews Jr. Jazz team. Jeremy is survived by his beloved Ashton and Belle of Orem; loving parents, J. Kevin and Dianne Raddatz Morris of Saratoga Springs; grandparents J.C. Jr. and Mildred Hamblin Morris of Baldwyn MS and Max Dale and Joanne Seare Raddatz of Pleasant Grove UT; sister Anne (Aaron Medford) of Saratoga Springs; brother Kristopher John (Amy Ferrin) of Saratoga Springs; his adoring nieces and nephews Jackson and John Medford and Kaleigh, Kaden, Brianna, Ryan, and Preslie Morris, all of whom know him as Uncle Moe; and numerous loving uncles, aunts, and cousins. And he is survived by countless friends who, just as his family, will carry dear memories of him in their hearts, forever. Jeremy Lane Morriss legacy is one of love, encouragement, and respect for all who have been blessed to know him. The Walker Sanderson has arranged a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on , 29, at the Sunrise Meadows Third Ward LDS church at 947 N. Jack Rabbit Run, Saratoga Springs UT. services will be held in that same building on , 30 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing prior, from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. Interment will be at the Orem City .
