Obituary: Nicole Domini Miller “Sunshine†Our beautiful Nicole Domini Miller (“Sunshineâ€) was born on 17, 1994, at the University of Utah Hospital. Nicole proved her strength from day one as she began this life with the challenge of Cerebral Palsy and a Trech. She lived in Utah for the first two years of her life then moved to Salt Lake City where she started Preschool at the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. At this point, doctors were not confident Nicole had much longer to live. At the school, Nicole met a woman who would change her life – her soon-to-be-mother, Tammy Miller. It was love at first sight. Nicole’s special spirit and vitality radiated through her eyes. She had so much to give. On 8, 1999, Nicole moved back to Orem to live with her new family and begin a new life. Nicole, now surrounded by love, began to thrive with the help of her mother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, kind nurses, teachers and a caring staff. She began 1st grade at the Dan Peterson School where she became the social butterfly of her class. She accomplished and achieved many different goals in many different developmental areas. She began communicating at higher levels. She continued at the school reaching the 11th grade. Everyone who knew Nicole loved her. Nicole was part of the family from the first day. However, the state recognized the adoption on May 7, 2007, and legally changed her name from, “Domini Nicole Salisbury†to “Nicole Domini Miller.†Nicole loved everything “girly†from prettily painted nails, flashy hair ribbons, and sparkly bracelets. Some of her favorite things were shopping with the girls, going to school, listening to stories and music, watching chick flicks, and spending time with those she loved. Nicole lived 12 years longer than her doctors had anticipated sharing her life, love and vigor with everyone she met. On 28, 2011, Nicole answered the call to return home to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. Nicole, your spirit is now, “free to fly†without the restraints of your physical body. We know you will continue to learn, grow, and progress and will be watching us from above. May we live worthily so we may be with you again. Thank you for the time we had to share with on earth. You are very special daughter of our Heavenly Father. You are loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Alberta Carolynn Miller. She is survived by her mother Tammy Miler, her grandfather Malden Chris Miller, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who love and adore her dearly. A viewing will be held , 5, 2011, from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem. Services will be held , 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the Geneva Heights Chapel, 590 North 900 West, Orem. Friends and family may call at a viewing held from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Orem City . |

Obituary: Michael R. Miller POP Our beloved husband, supportive father, adored grandfather, Michael Raymond Miller, age 70, passed away at his home in South Jordan, Utah on 30, 2009. Surrounded by his loving family, he passed away with dignity, determination, and a sense of humor. Mike was born 20, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the oldest child of Raymond Jensen Miller and Nellie Faye Frost Miller. Mike graduated from South High School and attended the University of Utah. He married his sweetheart, Marian Done, 24, 1960, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. are the proud parents of two children, Karen and Michael. Mike served in the National Guard of Utah and the United States Army Reserves. Mike worked for A&R Meats for over twenty years before taking a position he loved at Alliant Techsystems. He retired from ATK in 2001, but continued his employment with Murray Parks and Recreation until shortly before his passing. Mike loved to work outside where he enjoyed the sunshine. His tireless work ethic was a profound blessing to his wife, children and grandchildren. Mikes greatest joy in life was spending time with his loving and caring wife Marian, their children and grandchildren. Mike loved his drives with Marian, trips to St. George and attending his grandchildrens countless sporting events and dance recitals. Mike had tremendous talent in landscaping and maintaining his immaculate yard. His solid and caring hands blessed many lives. He is survived by his sweetheart of 49 years, Marian, and their children: Karen and Kris Hudson, and Michael Jon and Tracy Miller; six grandchildren: Jake, Shon, Paige, Mikey, Caden, and Ashley. He is also survived by his siblings: Randy (Kathy) Miller, Toni (Paul) Wiseman, Debbie (Reid) Millerberg, Jim (Sara Jo) Miller and brother-in-law Bryan Stevens. Preceded in death by his father Ray, mother Faye, and younger sister Lynda (Bryan) Stevens. The family extends our deep appreciation to Dr. Greg Litton, Dr. Jane MacPherson and Utah Cancer Specialists for their kind and loving care. We would also like to sincerely thank Dana and Michelle at Community Services for their compassionate care in his final days. services will be held , 5, 2009 at 10:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
