Obituary: Martha Ann Ewell McDonald, 94, passed away on 29, 2006 in Provo, Utah. She was born 9, 1912 in Genola, Utah to Alice Taylor and Zachariah Henry Ewell, the fourth of fourteen children. She married Arthur G. McDonald in 1935 and they were later divorced. had one child, Jeanette, whom she adored. She married Marcell Prost in 1956 and they were later divorced. She married again in 1962 to Ray Checketts of Hood River, Oregon and they also were later divorced. Martha Ann was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings in the Primary, Relief Society, and School. She loved her temple work. Martha Ann loved her family, her church, her community, and to travel. She was a very talented lady. She was always sewing or knitting or crocheting something for someone. She had a heart of gold and was always thinking of others. Her Heavenly Father meant everything to her and she was constantly an outstanding example of courage and strength and active in community affairs well into her senior years. She meant the world to all of us who knew her. We have been truly blessed to have her in our lives. She will be missed greatly by those she has left behind, but we know she is now dancing in heaven with her beloved daughter Jeanette and all of those who passed before her. She is survived by her grandchildren, Shanna (Terry) Giles of Payson; Wade (Sandy) York, of Spanish Fork; four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Verda Throckmorton, Genola; Mabel Lance, Tooele; Udean Camp, Orem; Arlin Ewell, Genola; Beth Scott, Las Vegas, NV; and Shirley Jackman, Orem. She is preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Henry, Ezekial, Thomas, Elmer, Paul, Ernest, and Ervin; her daughter, Jeannette McDonald York; and one great-granddaughter, Danika Lee York. Our sincere appreciation goes to Barbara and Duane Dockstader, Country View Manor, and Hospice for Utah for their help and thoughtful care. It was immeasurable. services will be held , 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Payson 14th Ward Chapel, 110 South 300 West. Family and friends may call evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Payson 14th Ward, 110 South 300 West or morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Obituary: Marjorie Irene McDonald passed away on 15, 2016 peacefully at home. Marjorie was born on May 8, 1915 in Austin, Minnesota to William Beckel and Elda Townsend Beckel. She was baptized in St. ine Catholic Church and attended parochial schools. She had two brothers, Ronald Beckel and Kenneth Beckel. In 1929 she moved with her parents to Aberdeen, South Dakota where she graduated from high school in 1933 and married Lamoure Lacy in 1935. had five children: Gerald Lacy, William Lacy, Dennis Lacy, Judith Lacy and Susan Lacy. In 1969 Lamoure passed away and Marjorie moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1970. She joined the Church of Latter Day Saints in 1972 and Married R. Neal McDonald in 1976 with whom she had many happy times. R. Neal McDonald passed away in 1992 and she has since resided at Friendship Manor. Marjorie loved traveling to Europe, Hawaii, and Alaska, shopping, cooking, playing Bridge and other card games, theater, all her friends, and especially her children who she remained very close to. She was preceded in death by two sons: Gerald Lacy and William Lacy. She is survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; son Dennis Lacy (Gloria), Aurora Colorado; daughter Judith Maybach (James) in Redwing, Minnesota; daughter Susan Lacy in American Fork, Utah; and dear friends Hal and Carolyn Lucas in Lehi, Utah. Obituary: I came to earth 2, 1925. My parents, John C. Heaton and Alice Blackburn Heaton were there to welcome me as were my three brothers and one sister. I married Vernon J. McDonald in the St. George Temple 24, 1946. One child was born to us, Ann McDonald. I held many positions in the church and always tried to do the best that I could. I was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. I had a good life and I want to thank all my friends and relatives for making it a good life. I was preceded in death by my daughter, Ann, on 14, 1993, followed by my husband Vern on 8, 1995, then my siblings: Glendon, Doyle, Henry Bielby Heaton and Nancy Donkin. I am survived by numerous nieces and nephews, whom I love and adore. I thank everyone for their help in taking care of me and helping me during my life.
