Obituary: Frances Pauline (Langley) Myers, 88, of Grand Prairie, TX formerly of Topeka, KS in the loving presence of family went to be at peace with our Lord on 19, 2015 at Town Hall Estates in Arlington, TX. She was born 7, 1926 in Eskridge, KS the daughter of Late Langley and Pearl (Rowley) Langley. While working as a nurses aide at St. Frances Hospital in Topeka she became acquainted to Noel Myers (a patient at the time). On 3, 1950 they became united into a lifelong marriage making their home in Topeka while raising a family. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and homemaker Frances worked as a bookbinder for American Bindery for a number of years. the passing of her husband Noel she continued to reside in Topeka until 2008 when she moved to make her home in Grand Prairie, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband Noel Myers and son Daniel Langley. Survivors include daughter Sherry Richardson (Rich) of Topeka, KS, son James Myers (Rose Mary) of Grand Prairie, TX; 5 grandchildren, Zachery Broughten (Jody), Cassandra Taylor, Marie Myers all of Topeka, KS, Lucas Myers of Hendersonville, NC and Tana Barndollar (Jim) of Chico, CA; 4 step grandchildren, Robert Garcia (Dalene Parker) of Arlington, TX, Rene Garcia (Lisa Marzban) of Winnetka, CA, Cindy Resendez of Grand Prairie, TX, Cathy Fanning (James D) of Euless, TX; 4 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren; 2 sisters Velata Tibbs, and Virginia Langley both of Topeka, KS and a brother Gerald Langley of Mesa, AZ; and many nieces and nephews. Obituary: Frances Fay Winingham Myers, of Abilene, wife of the late G.T. (Tom) Myers, went home to be with the Lord on 25, 2011 at the age of 82. services will be 2:00 p.m. , 2, 2011, at Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Faith, 5701 Highway 277 South, with Pastor David Cason officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil . Frances was born 15, 1929 to Lee and Lucille Winingham, a third generation native Texan. She grew up as a child of the "Great Depression" and ranchers daughter in Montague . graduating from Goldberg High School, Frances went to work as a telephone operator in Bowie. There, she met George Thomas (Tom) Myers when he returned from Japan after the end of WWII. were married in 1948, beginning her life as an "oil field" wife. Their life together lasted 50 years as they lived all over North, West, and Central Texas, finally settling in Abilene in 1962. Frances worked at a local doctors office for several years and Tom became a partner in Rig Testers, Inc., which they later purchased. With their two children grown and business established, they began to travel the world. Among their travels, they visited Hong Kong, China, Bali, Malaysia, most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, cruised the Mediterranean, flew on the Concorde, and rode the Orient Express. loved to travel together. In later years, they toured the U.S. and Canada in their motor coach, but Frances always considered her family her greatest blessing. She had always made sure that there was plenty of food, laughter, and love to go around. Being "Nana" to her five grandchildren was her true joy, and celebrating their lives helped fill much of her time after Toms passing in 1998. As they grew older, it was a cruise or a trip to Hawaii she used to celebrate their accomplishments, to make sure they knew she was proud of them, and to cherish their time together. Frances will be greatly missed by her brothers, James Winingham and wife, Barbara, of Bowie and Dan Winingham and wife, Elaine, of Olney; daughter, Nancy Myers Anthony and husband, Bill, of Colleyville; son, Randy Myers and wife, Diane, of Abilene; grandchildren, Amy Anthony Bonzon and husband, Chris, Steven Anthony, Emily Anthony, Paul Myers and wife, Emery, Jarrod Myers, and Alicia Goodman; and two great-grandchildren, Aston Anthony and Wesley Goodman. |

Obituary: Flores L. Myers, age 92, of Lubbock, passed away , 27, 2017. Flo was born on 10, 1924, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Myrle and Claude Crump. She married Carl W. Myers on May 26th, 1944, in Laurenberg, NC. Together they had two children Terry and Carla. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Flo worked for twenty-three years as the Director of Graphics in Engineering Services, a division of the of Engineering at Texas Tech University. A life-long artist, she enjoyed painting, photography, and travel. As a member of Highland Baptist Church, she was active in multiple ministries, always striving to exemplify her love for the Lord. Flo was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her son Terry, and her brother Joe Crump. She is survived by her daughter Carla Myers; her grandchildren: Susan Harvey and her husband Terry, Cathy Ruff, Sara Relaford and her husband Jon Hoin, Amanda Leinneweber and her husband Kyle; her three great grandchildren: Morgan Tucker, and her husband Michael, Maranda Harvey, and Lila Ruff; and two great-great grandchildren; Carleigh and Connor Tucker. She is also survived by her brothers, Curtis Crump and wife, Sylvia and M.T. Crump and wife, Jane. Obituary: Fannie Mae Ivory of Schertz, Texas passed away on , May 22, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born 1st, 1928 to Johny Boy Ivory and Ella Mae Coleman in Florida. She was raised by her Grandmother "Mama" Coleman. She modeled after high school and always loved to bake. She met and married Harvey D. Myers Jr. in , 1953 with whom she travelled Europe visiting France, Germany and Greece while he was serving his country in the Air Force. retiring here in San Antonio they made this their home. While traveling with her husband she had her own business catering and baking. She also at that time was busy raising her six children. She was a loving Mother to more than her own children and helped raise/babysit many of the neighborhood children here in Schertz well into her 80s only stopping when arthritis made it too hard to get around. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years and her oldest daughter Christine. She is survived by her children, Craig Myers of Schertz, Angela Myers of San Antonio, Timothy and Tina Myers of Schertz, Jerry Myers and Norma Stewart of San Antonio, Harvey and Eva Myers III of Florida, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
