Obituary: Wife, mother, sister, aunt and nurse, Sharon was so much to so many. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was the oldest of six children. Vivacious, outgoing and frequently the funniest in the room, Sharon was well loved and will be thoroughly missed. Attending nursing school in Chicago, Illinois, Sharon began what would be a life of caring and giving, both professionally and personally, including many years of ministering to the homeless. Opting, late in life, to be a homemaker, Sharon raised two sons, and was both grandmother and mother to her grandson Joey. She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Elizabeth Dailey; her brother Michael Dailey; and her son Joseph P. Moseley. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Harry Moseley; her son Jeffrey Moseley; her grandson Joseph P. Moseley II; her sisters Maureen McVea and Kathleen Craig; her brothers Dennis Dailey and Timothy Dailey; and numerous other loving friends and relatives. Obituary: OLLIE B. (Bea) GOEHRING MOSELEY, a lovely lady, now a glorious Saint. What a homecoming in Heaven for this beautiful saint of God who was a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior, JESUS Christ. Paul, the Apostle, said what Bea Moseley felt in her heart: I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith. [As to what remains] henceforth there is laid up for me the [victors] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me and recompense me on that [great] day-and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and yearned for and welcomed His appearing (His return). All of us say, COME NOW, Lord JESUS! Ollie B. Goehring Moseley was born on 12, 1912, to John F. Goehring and Mattie Pearl Caruthers in Concho , Texas. She married D.H. Moseley at age of 16. his death, she married Ollie B. Moseley in 1935; together they had twins, a boy and girl. During her lifetime, she continually explained that she and her second husband had the same name. Friends and relatives called her Bea instead of using her first name, Ollie. She passed away at the age of 103 and one-half, in Bryan, Texas, having lived a very blessed life by her Father GOD. She resided in Odessa, Texas, from 1955, until 2012, when she moved to Bryan, Texas. While in Odessa she worked for Furrs Cafeteria, Permian High School Cafeteria, and Wyly Brown Construction. her retirement, she traveled with the senior-group of First Baptist Church to Israel, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Hawaii, and numerous places in the upper New England states. She volunteered at the food bank in Odessa, served as voting assistant during elections, and crocheted over 384 afghans for residents of local nursing homes in Odessa. She is preceded in death by her father and mother; brother; step-mother; two sisters; two husbands; son-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother, Donald Goehring and his wife, Sandra, of Paint Rock, Texas; her son, Dale Moseley, and his wife, Patty, of Odessa, Texas; daughter, Gale Davidson of Bryan, Texas; four grandchildren, Traci Davidson Harvey and husband, Dean, of Magnolia, Texas; Michael Davidson and his wife, Lonna, of Athens, Texas; Charlotte Davidson Forester and husband, Glenn, of Portland, Oregon; Suzanne Davidson Eggleston and husband, Doug, of Spring, Texas; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Services are pending following cremation. Memorials may be given in her name to the Brazos Valley Hospice, 502 West 26th Street, Bryan, Texas. |
