Bob was 85 years young, was known for his humor, his incredible memory, faithfulness, strong sense of duty, and his childrenÂs stories. Bob will be greatly missed. Bob was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma, lived in Wichita, Kansas for 69 years, graduated from WichitaÂs North High School in 1937, attended Friends University and was a member of WichitaÂs West Side Baptist Church from 1920 to 1990. Obituary: Frances Bisang Monroe, 87, of Austin, Texas passed away on , 21, 2014. Frankie was born in San Antonio on 6, 1926 to Dorothy and Sylvan Bisang. Frankie attended Thomas Jefferson High School and Incarnate Word . In 1946 Frankie married Robert (Bobby) Monroe and they lived in El Paso and San Antonio before permanently settling in Austin in 1954. Frankie was a devoted mother to her four children and a committed supporter of all of their activities—attending and assisting with Girl Scouts, Blue Brigade, Music Lessons, Baseball teams and Tennis matches. She could put together a picnic outing in record time and still had time to maintain lifelong friendships as well as making new friends. Preceding Frankie in death was her husband of 67 years, Bobby in 2013, her parents and her brother, Robert Bisang. Frankie is survived by her sister, Jerry Hutcheson and brother, Jim Bisang. She is also survived by her children Marsha & Chuck Halso, Terry & Randy McKetta, Mark & Glenda Monroe and Matt & Janet Monroe. Also, saying good bye to Mimi are her grandchildren Brian Halso, Kristen Halso, Gillian & Ryan Crow, Michelle Monroe, Robby & Lauren McKetta , Jeannie McKetta, Garrett Monroe, Dillon Monroe and Elise Monroe. Great grandchildren who will miss their Mimi are Emmett McKetta, Andrew McKetta and Caroline Crow. As a dedicated professional, she worked in a number of settings including The Austin Public Library, the office of Texas Governor Preston Smith and the Texas Public Association. Frankie was active in many social organizations such as Phi Gamma Delta Mothers and Wives Club and Austin Womans Club. Her membership in Daughters of the King was especially meaningful to her. A memorial service for Frankie will be held on , 6 at 11:00a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 209 W 27th St, Austin, TX 78705. In lieu of flowers Frankie would have loved donations made to her beloved Church, All Saints Episcopal Church or to The Trail Foundation, supporting the trail around Lady Bird Lake, where she and Bobby walked and dreamed for several years. |

Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM , 27, 2015 in St. Marys Cathedral with Rev. Scott Raef as celebrant and Monsignor Harold Waldow as con celebrant. Foy was born in Dalhart, Texas on 15, 1932, the youngest of eight children of Tom and Ethel Monroe. He married Gaynell Koehler in Dalhart in , 1950. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1952 during the Korean War and served two years of shore duty in California before being assigned to the destroyer Frank E. Evans. During sea duty in the Pacific he served as a Torpedoman. Upon his discharge in 1956 he returned to Dalhart, and served in the Navy Reserve until 1960. In 1960 he moved his family, which now included two sons, Steven and Douglas, to Amarillo. Foy was a parishioner of St. Marys Catholic Church from that time on. Foy, from early in life had a love of horses and riding. This love carried over to his fondness for western films. Foy also loved woodworking, from carving to furniture creations. He restored a Model T and Model A Ford from his shop off 6th St. in Amarillo. He enjoyed sports on TV; his favorite teams were the Cowboys and Rangers. Foy was a formidable domino player who almost always beat his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings and a grandson in law. He is survived by his wife, Gaynell; sons, Steven and wife Jeanne of Frisco, and Doug and wife Kim of Amarillo; sister, Gladys Dye of Dalhart; a brother in law, Bob Wray of Perryton; granddaughters, Amber Heath, Shayna Moreno and husband Eric all of Amarillo, and Kelly Monroe of Sterrett, Alabama; grandson, Colby Monroe and wife Felicia of Amarillo; six great-grandchildren, Madison Heath, Sawyer Heath, Cooper Monroe, Carter Monroe, Kyler Moreno and Emilyn Moreno. |

Obituary: On 8th, 1961 a second son was born to Mamie and Qzie Monroe Sr and was named Floyd Louis Monroe. His early years of education were at Manor Elementary and Manor Junior High Schools. He graduated from Manor High School. While in school, Louis excelled in basketball, football and track. graduating from high school he furthered his education at Austin Community and the University of Texas. At the age of fourteen, Louis gave his life to Christ and was baptized. He was added to the church as a member of the Church of Christ in Manor, Texas. He later moved his membership to the Wheless Lane Church of Christ in Austin, Texas. In 2000, through his hard work and dedication to the church, and the members love for him, he was ordained a deacon. Louis remained an active and faithful member until his death. A shared Icee and skating rink family outing brought Louis into the life of a young lady named Geneva Ray. Their friendship grew into love and they were united in marriage on 13th, 1986. God blessed this union with four beautiful daughters: Raven Elizabeth, twins Kaylin Mari and Kayrin Mamie, and Geneva ReAnn. In 1992, Louis and his brother Ozie Jr. started their own construction business O & L Construction . This family oriented business helped out a lot of people in the community and other areas in and around Austin. The business also brought a close and unbreakable bond between the brothers. Louis was an upstanding citizen in Manor, Texas. He did volunteer work for the city of Manor and the Manor ISD. H e also coached Select Basketball for the Austin Lady Knights and Austin Elite . He helped in developing their basketball skills which lead to several young ladies receiving basketball scholarships. Off the court, he served as their mentor . Louis was preceded in death by his parents Mamie Leora Monroe and Ozie Monroe Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Geneva, His Children: Christopher Jerome Monroe, Dominic Louis Monroe, Raven Elizabeth Monroe, Kaylin Mari Monroe, Kayrin Mamie Monroe, and Geneva ReAnn Monroe. Grandchildren: Leonidis Monroe, LeVian Monroe, and Jayden Meredith.
