Obituary: Mary Nannie Miskulin went peacefully home to Heaven on 12, 2015, after a wonderful life filled with love and family. Mary Simcheck was born in 1923 in Barberton, OH, where she met the love of her life, John Miskulin, whom she married in 1944. Together they raised 4 children. Mary was a daily communicant at St. Pius X Catholic Church, where she was active with the church rosary group. Over the years, Mary made thousands of rosaries that were sent to missionaries all over the world. Mary worked diligently in the St. Pius X cafeteria for 37 years, serving generations of children from the parish. She was a loving, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved to hold and read to her abies. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Miskulin, her son John Miskulin Jr., and grandson Jonathon Miskulin. She is survived by her children Rosemary (Randy) Stovern, Joe (Geralyn) Miskulin and Kathy (Darrell) Harden and grandchildren Frank Torti, Tina Anderson, Jeni Vest, Jessica Chambers, Jacob Miskulin, Ashley Seaman Phelps and Stephanie Seaman, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a Mass be said at your home parish in her name. Visitation will be held at Sparkman Crane on Garland Road, , 15th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with a rosary being held at 7:00pm and will be led by Monsignor Thomas Weinzapfel. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on , 16th, at 11:00am at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Dallas. Burial will be 18th at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National at 9:30am. |

Obituary: Ronald Jerome Miska, loving husband, father, son, and brother, age 63, passed away unexpectedly at home in Plano, TX, on 10, 2010. Born in Warren, MN, 3, 1947, to Raymond and Lillian Miska, he graduated from Warren High School in 1965. He attended North Dakota State of Science graduating with an Associates degree in electronic technology. a 13 month tour of duty with the 4th Infantry Division in Viet Nam in 1968-69, he attend North Dakota State University, graduating with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He also earned an MBA degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Ron recently retired after a 37-year career as an electrical engineer mainly in the defense division of Texas Instruments and Raytheon working on engineering designs as well as training and mentoring other engineers. He was a Licensed Professional Engineer for most of his career. Ron enjoyed a number of hobbies including reading, woodcarving, sailing, photography, car restoration and repair, home improvement, vacationing in Minnesota, and walking in the woods and feeding the birds at Holly Lake Ranch, TX. As a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, he volunteered as a Cub Scout leader and usher. Ron was a member of the National 4th Infantry Division Association. Ron is survived by Linda, his wife of 40 years, his two children William and Elizabeth; his mother Lillian of Alexandria, MN; his mother-in-law Esther Gordon of Wahpeton, ND; his sisters Marion (Warren) Hickman of Gold Canyon, Arizona, Jane (Glenn) Sirek of Alexandria, MN, and Diane (Dan) Yatskis of West Fargo, MN: his brother Curtis of Richland, WA, and 11 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond. A visitation and prayer vigil will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on , 15, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Plano. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on , 16, with burial at DFW National . Obituary: Don Misiuda was born on 25th, 1957 in Chicago, IL. He passed away on 23rd, 2017 in Arlington, TX. Don graduated from Wheeling High School in 1975 and moved from Illinois to Texas in the early 1980s. Don was hired by Bell Helicopter in 1986 and worked as a Tool and Die Maker for over 30 years. He was proud of the work he performed and had the opportunity to build the parts used to make the Osprey Aircraft. Don loved the outdoors and he spent many weekends at his cabin with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, air shows, cooking and spending time with his family. Family was extremely important to him. If you needed anything Don was the one person you could count on. He was more than generous to others and always thought of others before himself. He also enjoyed puzzles especially Sudoku. If you needed to figure out how something worked Don was the person to ask. Don will be remembered for his sense of humor. He earned the title of Silly Grandpa because of his humorous personality. All his grandkids continued to call him Silly Grandpa up until his passing. He was the favorite grandpa amongst the grandkids. Don will also be remembered for his amazing steaks. He made the worlds best steaks and his marinade will continue to be used for future generations. Furthermore, he will be remembered as being a big teddy bear always ready for a hug. Don is preceded in death by his wife Kelli Misiuda who passed away in 2007, his mother, Elsie Misiuda who passed away in 1983. He is survived by his 92-year-old father Emil Misiuda; Sister Lorraine Ochoa and husband Luis; Brother Brian Michaels; daughter Kerri Camp, daughter Kim Temple and husband Chip, daughter Brandi Kinikin and husband Chris, son Justin Misiuda; grandchildren Ashely Temple, Kaitlyn Temple, Austin Temple, Jeni Kinikin, Jami Kinikin, Jodi Kinikin; and many nieces and nephews. |
