Obituary: .Miss Mary Sue Milliron, 86, of Marlin, died , May 3, 2014 at Providence Hospital in Waco.

Services will be , May 7, 2014 at 10am in the chapel at Adams in Marlin. Burial will follow at Clover Hill in Lott, Texas. Visitation will be , May 6 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Mary Sue Milliron was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on 23, 1928, the only child of the late Tom H. and Kate Stearman Milliron. Although she attended Highland Heights Christian Church during her childhood, she was baptized at Lamar Avenue Baptist Church during her teens and was a member of the choir there. In 1945 she graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High School where she was an honor student and a member of the National Honor Society. She also attended Hardin Junior .

In 1945 she was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator. During her 33 year career she held several positions in Wichita Falls, and in 1962 became Chief Operator in Mt. Pleasant. At that time she dropped her first name and became Sue Milliron. Her management career took her to Odessa, Dallas, Fort Worth and back to Dallas where she retired in 1978 as Personnel Supervisor for the Dallas Area.
In Dallas she was active in the Junius Heights Neighborhood Association and was instrumental in keeping her East Dallas neighborhood from being rezoned. She was also a volunteer math tutor at Lincoln High School in Dallas through her companys Adopt-A-School program.
her retirement, she moved to Marlin with her friend and business partner, Doris Jean Bailey, where they bought a farm and raised cattle for several years. both loved to go garage-saleing. Sue was always her Daddys boy and loved to swing a hammer and acquired a large collection of tools and stuff. She also became active in volunteer work in Marlin. She assisted teaching English as a second language for several months, started a free low-impact aerobics class as well as a line-dancing class and computer basics classes for seniors at the Marlin Civic . She held many positions on the Civic s Board of Directors, was very active in the daily operation of the for over 12 years and played drums and sang at the monthly Bluebonnet Jamboree. She was a member of numerous advisory boards and task forces for various community groups and served as President of the United Way of Marlin/Falls for over 15 years. During her years of volunteering she received many awards including Central Texan of the Month, Outstanding Individual in a Community Based Setting, and Volunteer of the Year for Falls .
She loved pets and was blessed to have three loving Yorkshire Terriers over a thirty-five year period\Taffy (1970-1986) Keebler (1986-2001) and Trey (1997 \ 2011). She and D.J. loved wildlife too and raised several baby squirrels, handfed a mourning dove daily for several summers, and always fed the hummingbirds, red birds, bluebirds and other feathered friends. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and their house was widely known as The Dallas Cowboys House.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, Tom, in 1958 and her mother, Kate, in 1983 and her dear friend Doris Jean Bailey. She is survived by several cousins: Bobby J. Hatchett (who was more like a sister) of Cypress, Texas, Joyce Strange of Archer City, Texas, Don Stearman of Oceanside, California, David Holder of Houston, other distant relatives and many friends.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, Sue suggested memorials to Marlin Civic Senior , Falls Meals-on-Wheels, Marlin Volunteer Fire Department, Clover Hill of Lott, Marlin Public Library or the individuals favorite charity.

Obituary: Jean Marie Milliron passed away on , 12, 2016 after complications from back surgery in Houston, TX. She was 75 years Old. She is survived by her nine children, 14 grandchildren, cousins and extended family. She lived a full life and was surrounded by people she loved when she passed away.

Jean was born in Spokane, Washington, on 30, 1940, where she was raised, went to nursing school, and got her degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked in maternity wards through her 40s and in later years was a home health care nurse for many special needs children. She took great pride in being able to help people, especially infants and young children. Through the 80s and early 90s, she and her ex-husband were foster parents to 29 children while living in California and Arizona. Almost all of them were special needs and abused children. She always made a point of being their fiercest advocate in foster care systems. She was a loving and passionate person who made an impression wherever she went and on whomever she met. A military spouse through her 30s, she lived in Honolulu, San Diego, Seattle, Pacifica, and Phoenix with her family and then later settled in Houston, Texas. In her late 40s, she fought and survived breast cancer. In final years, she became part of a community of people in Houston whom she loved and helped whenever she could. She was loved by many, and her passing will leave a big gap in many peoples hearts. She also had a special passion for her dogs, and was an advocate for Poodle Rescue of Houston.

Obituary: Mitzie Joyce Million, 75, of Smyer,TX passed away 18, 2013 in Lubbock after an unexpected illness. She was born 6, 1938 in Jacksonville, Florida to A. W. & Joyce Pogue. She was an avid golfer and bowler and a member of multiple bowling leagues. She also served on the local Bowling Board. Mitzie had a English Degree from South Plains and worked over 20 years for the United States Air Force in various positions, while traveling all over the world. She retired from Reese AFB as the base housing manager. Mitzie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother in life as well as in her death as a organ donor. Recipiants are already receiving her special gifts.

Mitzie is survived by her husband Larry Million; daughters, Elizabeth Diane Hamilton of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Debbie Dennis of Plainview, TX; step-daughters, Regina Million and Alicia Million both of San Antonio; step-son Bill Million of Louisville, KY; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mitzie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Pogue.

A memorial service will be held , 21 at 4:00 pm in Resthaven s Abbey Chapel. A private cremation was held.

He was born 18, 1934 in Fort Worth, Texas to Louis Noble Million, Sr. and Rose Veronica Nolan Million.

Lou was a swimming star at the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a Civil Engineer Degree in 1957. He also attended the University of Virginia from 1969 to1971. Lou worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for the U.S. Department of Transportation for 25 years. He worked at various locations throughout the world, including Alaska, Chicago, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. He retired from the FAA on 2, 1997.

Lou was known for being a true humanitarian, with wisdom, kindness and a great sense of humor. He demonstrated and lived his life by the Golden Rule, reat others as you would like to be treated. Lou was a loving father to his children and a devoted husband to Julie, his wife of 30 years.

Lou was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Rose and Cecilia; his stepdaughter, Charlotte; and grandson, Eric.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; sons, Louis, Craig, John, and Patrick; stepson, Patrick; stepdaughter, Adrienne; and grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Arrow Jean, Clinton, Jacquelyn, Leah and Atia.

Obituary: Edward John Millington, 59, passed away suddenly on May 14, 2015 in Houston, Texas.

Ed graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering and was a Licensed Professional Engineer. He worked for many years with FM Global with a career focus in fire protection engineering and risk analysis. The friends he made while working for FM Global lasted a lifetime.

He grew up in Schwenksville, PA. In his youth he was very active in the Boy Scouts, where he was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. He maintained lifelong friendships with his childhood friends. Ed even joined some of them for a trout fishing trip to Pennsylvania every spring. He was a true outdoorsman and loved fishing and camping. He especially loved making fishing trips to the Alaskan wilderness. Ed was looking forward to taking his daughter, Abby Simpson and her husband, Paul Sibley, to Alaska for the first time this summer. His family was very important to him and he always found a way to visit with both his immediate and extended families, despite living far away from many of them. Ed was a good friend, an amazing father, a great brother, and a warm-hearted person. He was loved by many and he will be truly missed.

He is survived by his daughter Abby Simpson and her husband Paul Sibley of Austin, TX, his former wife Faith Millington of Houston, TX, his brother Thomas Millington and his wife Susan of West Deptford, NJ, his nephew T. Richard Millington of Mantua, NJ, his niece Lauren Antonison and her husband Richard of Collingswood, NJ and his new grandniece Evelyn Antonison.
