Obituary: George O. McWilliams SMsgt, USAF Retired, age 74, passed away , 18, 2003 at his home in San Antonio surrounded by his family. He was born on 23, 1929 in Clifton, Arizona. George entered the United States Air Force in 1948 and retired with 23 years of military service. He was a Korean and Viet Nam war veteran and he also served in Greenland. George was awarded the Air Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Citation with Clusters, seven awards of the Army and Air Force Good Conduct Medal, and the Armed Force Expeditionary Medal. George was a life member of VFW Post 8936, and a chaplain of his Post for 6 years. He was a charter member of Puptent #16, MOC, a charter member of Bexar Hunting and Fishing Club, Past President of the Prospect Hill Yellowjackets Little League and MenÂs Club. He was also a former member of the ASA Umpires Association, and played baseball and softball with the Lackland Eagles and War Hawks in 1949 and early 1950. He enjoyed all sports, particularly hunting, fishing and outdoor cooking. He is survived by; his wife Lillie, daughters; Melinda Jo Macias and husband Edward, Belinda Jean McWilliams, Brenda Botello, and Barbara Hernandez, son; Ronnie McWilliams, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Celia Rodriguez, and brother-in-law Paul Tellez. Relatives from Arizona include an uncle, Ernesto Ochoa and numerous cousins. The family would like to thank Hospice and particularly Dr. Brooks and staff. |

Obituary: Sheri J. McWilliams passed away , 27, 2010 in San Angelo, Texas. are by Johnsons . Sheri was born 22, 1948 to A.R. and Martha Wishert in Rotan, Texas. She was a graduate of Sweetwater High School and attended Angelo State . While at ASC, Sheri met and married Rickey McWilliams. From their marriage, they had one son, Bart Lee McWilliams. In of 1985, Sheri went to work for Pool Well Service where she spent 25 years working for the company now known as Nabors Well Service. Sheris friends all say that everyone who knew her loved her. She was a light in our lives and her continuous fight against cancer proved to us, her strength. Sheri was preceded in death by her father, A.R. Wishert, and her special friend, Lloyd Schwertner. Surviving Sheri are her mother, Martha Wishert-Spurgin; her son Bart and his wife, Stacie; and her only grandson, Cole Henry McWilliams. Also surviving Sheri are Rose Green and Helen Hulse, and numerous cousins and friends. There will be a visitation on , 30, 2010 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Johnsons . A funeral service will be held on , 31, 2010 at 10:00AM in Johnsons Chapel. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Obituary: Randy Robert McWilliams, 37, passed away in his sleep, at his home in Leander, Texas on the morning of 15, 2014. Randy was born on 31, 1977 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Hazel Lehman and Danny McWilliams. He grew up in a military family and moved around as a child. He graduated from Eastwood High School in El Paso, Texas in 1995. As a teenager, he liked Star Trek and loved to spend time off-roading in the sand dunes of the desert. Randy served for a short time in the U.S. Army before being medically discharged. He moved to the Austin area in 1996 where he would later meet Danette, the love of his life, in 1998 and whom he married on May 6, 2006. Randy and Danette had their first child, Justin Darrell McWilliams on 13, 2008 and their family was complete with the birth of their daughter, Ashley Carol McWilliams on 19, 2012. Randy had a passion for law enforcement and dedicated his life to helping others as an EMT, Volunteer Fire Fighter and Security Officer and Medical 1st Responder for the LCRA. Above all, Randy was a dedicated family man, a loving husband, brother, son and uncle, an amazing and proud father and a true friend. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Carol Kessel. Randy is survived by his wife, Danette McWilliams; son, Justin and daughter, Ashley of Leander; mother, Hazel Lehman of Austin; father and step-mother, Danny and Gina McWilliams of Round Rock; brother, Ray McWilliams of Austin; sister, Heather Schlueter and her husband Kenny of Austin; step-brother, Tony Nolen of Round Rock; mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Darrell Rusher of Round Rock; sister-in-law, Tina Callahan of Georgetown; life-long friend, Richard Young of Cedar Creek, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
