Obituary: Betty Anne Taylor McKinney died in her home in Cleburne, Texas on 12, 2015. She was 78 years old. Betty was born in Midland, Texas to AB and Edith Irene Renie Taylor on 15, 1936. She married Bobby Joe Smokey McKinney on 21, 1957 and they had three sons. Betty was a member South Walnut Street Church of Christ in Cleburne, Texas. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, AB and Renie Taylor, her husband, Bobby Joe Smokey McKinney and several aunts and uncles. Betty is survived by her three sons, all of Fort Worth, Texas; Larry and wife Gaye, and their children Taylor and Tara McKinney. Dale and Sandi, and their children, Sarita Dombrowski and husband Frankie, Shauna Keely and her husband Glen, and Zachary McKinney, and son Gary McKinney. She is also survived by six great grandchildren with another one on the way, and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers and three sisters, Harold Taylor and wife Mary, Edwin Taylor, Rick Taylor, Patricia Todd, Sharon Baze, and Vicki Turner and husband Tom as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty and her family wish to thank the many people who cared for her during her illness; her family and Mission Hospice of Cleburne. Service will be held at Ellis Chapel on , 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM, Melvin Blalock and Duane Permenter officiating, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on , 15, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Taylor McKinney, Zachary McKinney, Joel Blalock, Phillip Permenter, Bret Baze, Dustin Turner, Michael Todd and Kevin Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Taylor, Sam Whitling, and Jeff Baze. Obituary: Memorial Service for Arthur Jean McKinney will be 2:00pm 18, 2017 at Highland Presbyterian Church in Tyler, Texas. Born 27, 1928, He was the son of Claude & Goldie McKinney and passed away on 3, 2017 in Tyler. Jean grew up in Oklahoma, Washington State and Texas. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special, to family and friends who knew him best. Jean will be remembered as a very exceptional person. Jean had one brother and two sisters; Alden, Hazel , deceased and one sister died at birth. As a young boy, Jean had a number of interests. He was an active child who took part in basketball. In his spare time he liked music. His memorable achievements included playing the trumpet in high school. He graduated from Toppinish High in Washington in 1947. His favorite class in high school was band. Jean was blessed with six children, daughters: Patti Fisher, Paula Darden, Jacque Amador, Jill Mallory, sons: Mark McKinney and Matthew McKinney(deceased) Another blessing for Arthur was the gift of eight grandchildren, Sean & Daniel Fisher, Sarah Lewellen, Jessica Taylor, Isaac Amador, Naomi Amador, Tighe Brown (deceased) & Abby McKinney and eleven great-grandchildren. His primary occupation was a radio announcer and communications engineer. He was employed by and built several radio broadcasting stations in Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Arizona and Louisiana. Jean was in the U S Navy. He was on the USS Askari, serving in the Korean War. He achieved the rank of Radioman class A. He received several awards recognizing him for his service, including a National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and China Service Medal. His favorite pursuits were Hamm Radio, and computer related, still intrigued by new technology, digital cameras & smart phones. He was raised Assembly of God Churches and he loved the Lord. Favorite vacations included Red River, Taos and Carlsbad, New Mexico. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to ones favorite charity. |

Obituary: On 11, 2015 Anna McKinney passed away. Not only was she a wife and a mother of two; She was a veteran of the United States Army. It is fitting she died on Veterans Day. Her husband and her sons were also veterans and served their country multiple times overseas. Veterans Day will now always have a special meaning to her family. It will be a time to remember those who served and a time to remember a person who has achieved so much for her family. Once Anna completed her service in the US Army, she continued her service to the public by becoming a police officer for Harris in Houston, Texas. She dedicated her life to the service of others. It is this service that brought joy to her life and admiration by her family and friends. Annas family was her legacy. She gave so much to ensure her sons had every opportunity in life. It never needed to be said, but she loved her sons and her sons loved her. Often times you would get the old cliché of boys will be boys. When Tim and JT would get into trouble, their mother would set them straight. She would always be fair and never hold a grudge. In her passing she left behind her husband of almost 30 years, Jeff L. McKinney. During her last weeks on this earth he spent nearly every waking hour by her bedside. He would give up anything just to hold her hand one more time. Anna and Jeff had plans to retire soon. During this retirement they were going to travel across the United States. Now her husband will have to travel with her in spirit and with her memories close to his heart. Anna will always be loved and she will forever be missed. Goodbye Anna and may you rest in peace. |

Obituary: Ann M. McKinney, 88, passed away on 11, 2014 in Manvel, Texas. She was born Ann Straka on 8, 1926 in Ennis, Texas. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Dallas in 1944. She went to work at Neiman Marcus in Downtown Dallas where she met her husband of 61 years, Joe N. McKinney. were both founding members of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Dallas. Ann was a very active member of the parish, performing various functions in the Ladies Guild, funeral choir and as sacristan. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Joe in 2013. She is survived by her son, Stephen McKinney and wife Lorraine of Sugar Land; Grandson, Danny McKinney of McKinney, and great-grandchildren, Teagan McKinney of Hurst and Grayson McKinney of McKinney. The family will receive friends at a visitation on , 18, 2014 from 4:00 \ 8:00 P.M. with a rosary beginning at 6:30 P.M. at Calvary Hill in Dallas, Texas.
