Obituary: Mike was 72 when he passed away on , 26, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. He left this world struggling and entered into the Gates of Heaven and onto Eternal Salvation. He was born on 24, 1941 in Hillhead, South Dakota, to parents Rex and Hazel McKinley. Mike was born in a train boxcar by a midwife, before they could get to the hospital. He drove a gas truck and worked as a pipeline operator for Mobil Oil for 32 years. He loved mechanical work and could fix just about anything. His hobby was collecting pocket watches and repairing them. Mikes favorite past time was sitting in his recliner watching TV, football, and old Laurel and Hardy movies. He loved trains and locomotives and always wanted to be an Engineer. Grandpa to seven grandchildren, he loved going to school events to watch the grandkids participate. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bibiana, with a lifetime of Love and Faith. His wife to him was the foundation of his faith, and the strength of his perseverance. God and Family always came first. And from this comes a lifetime of memories. He is also survived by his five sons, Thomas, Mark, Mick, Mitchell and Joshua,as well as his three brothers, Wayne, Robert, and Ronald. Mike was loved by many and will be missed dearly. He awaits us all in the Kingdom of Heaven! A Rosary will be held on , 3rd at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 N. Evans Rd, Selma Texas, 78154. McKinley in Olympia, Washington on 26th 1941. moved to Lubbock, 1945. She was a charter member of St. Lukes Methodist Church. She was active in many childrens activities and retired from the Lubbock Independent School District. She was preceded in death by her husband and one granddaughter. She is survived by her two sons; Micky of Wichita Falls, TX. and Tom of Lubbock, TX.; daughter, Cindy Ryan of Cooper City, Florida and six grandchildren.

Obituary: John Key McKinley passed peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family in Dallas, on the morning of 12, 2014. He was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on 24, 1920 to a family of educators. His father, Vergil Parks, McKinley was a college professor, and his mother, Mary Emma Key McKinley, was an elementary education school teacher.
John was educated in Tuscaloosa, graduating from Tuscaloosa High School in 1937. Living on campus, he was able to walk out the door to The University of Alabama where he earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, and a M.S. degree in Organic Chemistry in four years. While in college, he was a cadet in the ROTC, rising to the rank of Cadet Colonel, and Brigade Commander. He was inducted into Tau Beta Pi, and the Scabbard and Blade Society, and was a member of The University of Alabama (Capstone) Engineering Society.
Immediately after receiving his M. S., he joined Texaco on May 29, 1941, as a chemical engineer engaged in grease research at the Port Arthur refinery in Texas. As a result of the escalating conflict in Europe, on 15, 1941 he was called to active service as a reserve officer with the rank of Second Lieutenant in the Army. For four and a half years during World War II he wore the Army uniform. The Army ordered the Alabama boy to Newfoundland and put him on skis. Pearl Harbor he reported to Fort Bragg for additional training, and ultimately shipped out to England on the Queen Mary. D-Day, in of 1944, he landed on Utah Beach and fought across France, Belgium and Germany. He saw action in numerous battles, including the Battle of the Bulge as the Allied troops advanced through Western Europe and onto Berlin. As a result of his valor in a pivotal battle for the Roer River, he received the Bronze Star and eventually rose to the rank of Major.
Upon returning to Port Arthur and Texaco, he met the love of his life, Helen Grace Heare. only one date, John proposed and soon after they married on 19, 1946. were blessed with two sons John Key McKinley, Jr., and Mark Charles McKinley.
Over the next 45 years, he held numerous positions worldwide with Texaco. In the research and development area he held over a dozen patents for petroleum additives and grease components. He continued his education, and graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University in 1962. In 1971 he was elected President of Texaco, and in 1980, the Board of Directors elected him as Chairman, President and CEO of Texaco. He served in that capacity until he retired from Texaco in 1986 after 45 years of service, and he always cherished his Texaco family. John later served as a consultant to ChevronTexaco Corporation.
John and Helen spent their ensuing years enjoying their friends and family. enjoyed their homes in Darien, Connecticut and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but their most cherished memories were always at the Steerhead Ranch in Buffalo, Wyoming. More than anything, he loved having people up to the ranch to enjoy a taste of the McKinley Culture and a Ride for the Brand on the Eastern Slope of The Bighorn Mountains.
Above all else John, Dad, Pops, aka JK will be remembered as a turtle with a hard shell and a soft heart. Born into a family of educators, he was always trying to teach those around him. He was a proud American patriot, a teacher, a mentor, a gentle giant, and he always noticed the efforts of others. John was a marksman, and if he aimed at a target, he usually hit it.
John served on the Board of Directors of many companies including Texaco Inc., Federated Department Stores, Burlington Industries, Martin Marietta Corporation, Merck & Co., Inc., Manufacturers Hanover Trust , Manufacturers Hanover Corporation, and Apollo Computer, Inc. He also served on the Board of Directors of organizations including the Metropolitan Opera, The Peregrine Fund, The Americas Society, Business Council for Effective Literacy and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer .
John received Honorary Doctorate of Law degrees from both the University of Alabama in 1972 and Troy University in 1974. He was also active in various civic and professional organizations, including the Brookings Council, the Business Council - Washington DC, and Presidents Commission on Executive Exchange. He was awarded the George Washington Honor Medal by the Freedoms Foundation and the Gold Medal by the National Institute of Social Sciences. In 1982 he was inducted into the Alabama Business Hall of Fame, and in 1983 was installed in the Alabama Academy of Honor. In 1984 he was given The American Eagle Award by the Invest-In-America National Council, and the Wallace Award by the American-Scottish Foundation. Also, in 1984 the Belgian Government presented John with the Commandeur de LOrdre de la Courrone, the highest decoration awarded to a corporate leader in recognition of significant contributions to Belgiums economic sector.
John enjoyed many club affiliations, and made many friends with the staff and members of those great clubs. He was a member of a National Golf Club in a, Georgia; The Alfalfa Club in Washington, D.C.; North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa; Wee Burn Country Club in Darien, Connecticut; Blind Brook Country Club in Purchase, New York; Clove Valley Rod and Gun Club in LaGrangeville, New York; The Brook and The Links clubs both in New York.
In 1987, John and Helen McKinley established the Merrymac McKinley Foundation, Inc., a charitable organization designed to benefit charities, educational institutions, and to provide scholarships and awards to individual students, educators and non-faculty members. Annual endowments and donations (creating over 30 scholarships and recognition awards) have been made to The University of Alabama, Troy University, Shelton State University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A & M Foundation, Trinity University, as well as continued...

Obituary: Jerry McKinley passed away on 6, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was 82 years old. Born 14, 1934 in Wichita Falls, Texas, McKinley was the first of two children born of Marion Claude McKinley and Opal Tootsie Broyles. Jerry was a graduate of Jeff Davis High School and also attended the University of Houston.

He proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1957 where he served in the United States and Japan. Jerry McKinley wed Paula Jean Spillers in of 1957 and started his career in the concrete pipe industry in of 1957. While he was starting his new position, he became the father of three children: one girl, Kathleen Dawn and two boys, Scott Marion and Steven Paul.

Over a span of 57 years, Jerry worked for, purchased, owned, operated, and sold Jerry McKinley Concrete Pipe , Inc.

He was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, worked as a committeeman on the HLS&R, served on the board of directors at North Houston Bank, the YO Social Club, and was a member of the US Power Squadron. Jerry had a passion for boats, antique cars, and just being a collector. In his earlier years, he loved hunting and fishing. Jerrys ability to socialize with people allowed him a successful business and a good family life. He loved to tell stories of his travels and personal experiences.

Jerry McKinley will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 years, Paula Jean PJ McKinley, his three children: Kathleen Dawn McKinley, Scott Marion McKinley, and Steven Paul McKinley, his grandchildren: Shawn Marion McKinley aka Son, Amanda Michele McKinley, and Lesa Ann McKinley, and 10 great-grandchildren that call him Poppy.

He is also survived by his sister Patricia Voelkel and her husband Stafford Voelkel along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Obituary: Jack Evans McKinley passed away on 8th, 2017. Jack was the most amazing son, nephew, grandson and great grandson. Although Jack's life was too short due to his diagnosis of Lissencephaly, he made such an impact on all who knew him and changed lives for the absolute better. Jack was so loved and we know we have an angel watching over us. What a blessing he continues to be!

A Celebration of Life will be held on , 14, 2017 at The Door Church, 111 Samuel Blvd. in Coppell. This celebration will commence at 1:00PM. Jack's family requests those attending to please dress casual.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Door Church in Jack's name. The funds will go to sponsor a child in Nicaragua through Compassion International.

Compassion International is a Christian child development organization dedicated to releasing children from poverty. Their ministry is twofold: work through local churches to provide child development programs to deliver children from economic, physical, social and spiritual poverty, enabling them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.
