Monique peacefully went to be with her lord the morning of 29, 2016 In San Antonio, Texas. Monique passed peacefully while in the comfort of her home, holding her loving husband Raymonds hand.

Monique was born 5, 1939 in Dange France to Joseph Sabourault and Aimee Pichon Sabourault. She lived an active and enthusiastic life.
She met the love of her life Raymond in France in 1955, where they dated until Raymond had to leave in 1957. In 1960 a blessing of military orders returned Raymond to France where he married the love of his life, Monique in 1964. The two soul mates lived a lively marriage full of travel, love, family, adventure, and of course great French wine. traveled to 12 different countries together throughout their careers.

Monique spent her life loving others, always so full of energy and always on the go doing something and helping someone. She was a supportive and loving wife to Raymond, a passionate and giving mother to her only son Charly (and his wife Mary), a doting and generous Nanny to her grandchildren Chris and Laura whom she loved dearly. were always in her conversations with others. She would have climbed the highest mountain for them if she had to. Monique became part of everyone she met, always willing to give and love others. A friend of Monique was a friend for life. She was a gourmet cook and served inspiring meals all over the world; from friends, doctors to military generals. She had a love of gardening and enjoyed being surrounded by flowers, spent her life as a dedicated hard worker, a gracious friend, and enjoyed the ease of a nice glass of French Boudreaux wine.

Monique is preceded in death by her mother and father Aimee & Joseph Sabourault, sisters Jacqueline Sabourault and Ginette Therrien. She is succeeded in death by her loving husband Raymond David McEntyre Jr, son Charly Joseph and his wife Mary, grandchildren Christopher Raymond and Laura Christine McEntyre, sister Paulette Guimbaud and her children, niece and nephews Fabien Vaucelle, Didier, Allan and Patrick DeForge.

Service will be held for family and friends at Sunset , Austin Highway on 16, 2016 at 12 noon with graveside ceremony to follow at Fort Sam Houston National . Obituary: On May 19, 2017, J. R. McEntyre left this life to enter the life that the Lord God has provided for us. He was born in Sweetwater, TX, 15, 1926, to John and Vera McEntyre. In 1938, they moved the family to Odessa. At Odessa High school he played French Horn in the band, played in a dance band and served as drum major. graduation from high school he entered Texas Tech University where he earned his Bachelors degree, returning later to complete his Masters degree. His college education was interrupted by a two year stay with the U. S. Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne Division band as first horn, assistant director and drum major. At the end of World War II the victory parade in Washington DC was led by the 82nd Airborne Division band with Sergeant J.R. McEntyre as drum major. his return to Tech he played first horn in the Texas Tech band and principal horn in the Lubbock Symphony. There he met and married his wife Evelyn. graduation in 1949 they moved to San Benito, Texas to begin his first teaching job. The following year, he moved to Odessa to become band director at the new Bowie Junior High School where he remained until 1955, when he moved to the newly opened Bonham Junior High School. In 1959 he became the band and orchestra director of the newest high school in Odessa, Permian. In addition to his teaching duties, he performed with the Midland-Odessa Symphony Orchestra and served as guest conductor of the orchestra. He also conducted the pit orchestra for many performances of musicals for the Permian Playhouse of Odessa. In 1962 the Permian High School Band was chosen as the honor concert band in Texas and performed at the Texas Music Educators Clinic in Houston. The Permian Band was chosen outstanding concert band at the Tri-State Contest in Enid, Oklahoma, for three years running, was winner of outstanding concert band and sweepstakes awards also at the Tri-State Festival. His orchestras were winners of The Buccaneer Festival outstanding Orchestra Award for four years. In 1968 at the Buccaneer Music Festival in Corpus Christi, Permian was awarded Most Outstanding Concert Orchestra, Most Outstanding Concert Band, and the Grand Sweepstakes Award. In 1968, the band and orchestra performed at the Southwest MENC in St. Louis, Missouri. The Permian Band also was featured on nation-wide television on two occasions from the Cotton Bowl for the Dallas Cowboys and the band and orchestra performed in the Los Angeles Coliseum for the Los Angeles Rams-Green Bay Packers NFL championship game. In 1972 J. R. became Director of Music Education for Ector Independent School District. However, directing music organizations and teaching remained his first love. He has served as president of the following professional organizations: Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Music Adjudicators Association, Texas Music Educators Conference and the National Bandmasters Fraternity Phi Beta Mu. He also has served as Texas State Band Division Chairman and from 1969 to 1987 was Executive Secretary for District VI UIL Music. He was named Bandmaster of the Year in 1985 by The Texas Bandmasters Association and was also chosen Orchestra Director of the Year in 1987. He has co-authored and had published five method books for beginning and intermediate band students as a technical studies method. In 1987, he received an Excellence in Community Service Award in Education by the Heritage of Odessa Foundation, and in 1995, the instrumental music building at Permian High School was named the J. R. McEntyre Instrumental Music Building. On May 14, 2016, he was inducted into the Region VI Band Directors Hall of Fame in Odessa. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, his daughter Janis and son-in-law Doug Naae, his sister-in-law, Ruth Roberts, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two nephews, one niece, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Free, his sister Marceline Cervenka, and his children, Marcia McEntyre Zoffuto, David Wayne McEntyre, and John Howard McEntyre. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm , May 26, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Monahan officiating. To commemorate his passing, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church of Odessa, 4901 Maple Avenue, Odessa, TX 79762, or the charity of your choice. Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly .

Obituary: Mary Lynn Aldredge McEntire, age 85, passed away on 4, 2009, after a long and rewarding life. She was deeply grateful for her family and many lifelong friends. Mrs. McEntire was born in Dallas, Texas on May 18, 1924, to Mary and Sawnie R. Aldredge. She graduated from the Hockaday School, attended Mary Baldwin , and graduated from the University of Texas where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. In 1947, she married J.B. McEntire, Jr., her great love with whom she shared fifty years of marriage. She devoted her life to her family, friends, and her community volunteer work. As a civic leader, she was president of several organizations, including the Junior League of Dallas, Dallas Heritage Society, Hockaday Alumnae Association, and Educational Opportunities. In addition to her involvement with the Pre-GED School, she served on the Board of Dallas Easter Seal Society for many years. She was a member of the Dallas Shakespeare Club, the Founders Garden Club of Dallas, the Dallas Country Club, and the Dallas Womans Club. She served on the advisory board for Senior Source and served as Life Director of the Dallas Heritage Society. Mrs. McEntire became active with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, organizing the first local fundraising dinner for ALS in honor of her husband. In recognition of her community service, she received the Hockaday Medal. In addition to a lifelong interest in folk art and travel, she especially loved books. Mrs. McEntire was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Sawnie R. Aldredge, Jr., and her devoted husband. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn McEntire Vogt of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Bart and Paddy McEntire of Carmel, California; son and daughter-in-law, Sawnie and Debra McEntire of Dallas; and daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Keith Young of Dallas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Elizabeth Vogt Gottlieb and her husband Andrew, Ashley Vogt Kennedy and her husband Casey, Katherine McEntire Hoggan and her husband Craig, Harriet McEntire, Jay McEntire and his wife Meredeth, Kate McEntire, Maggie McEntire, Maddie McEntire, Sam McEntire, Martha Young, and Keith Young III; five great-grandchildren as well as other close family members, including Mimi McKnight, Sawnie Aldredge III, Amy Aldredge Thompson, and Shelley Vescovo. She was grateful for the care she received from Versie Williams, Sandra Warren, and Virginia Cunningham. A Memorial Service will be held on , 8, 2009, at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Incarnation, 3966 McKinney Avenue in Dallas. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Dallas Heritage Society.

Obituary: Gerald McEntire, 88, of Weatherford, TX, passed away on 21, 2015. He was born in Ladonia, TX on 13, 1926. Gerald was a graduate of Texas A&M, and held many important jobs throughout his career. He was the chief juvenile probation officer of Jefferson , a vocation rehabilitation counselor for the state of Texas, the owner and director for over 20 years of the Fort Worth Trade and Technical Schools, and a teacher at the CCA facility in Mineral Wells.

Gerald is survived by longtime companion, Virginia (Gen) Cromer of Fort Worth; Alice McEntire of Groves; children, Elaine McEntire Lupovitch and Kirk ONeal of Houston, Nancy McEntire and Danny Felsinger of Weatherford, Donna and Scott Brooks of Denver, Colorado, David McEntire of Maui, Hawaii; grandchildren, Sheldon Felsinger of Dallas, Elliott and Lauren McEntire of Weatherford, John McEntire of Weatherford, Isaac Lupovitch and Shelby Swindoll of Houston, Zachery McEntire of Weatherford, and Thane McEntire of Norway; great-grandchildren, Caden and Cooper McEntire of Weatherford; and brother, J.L. McEntire and Birsen of San Antonio.

The visitation will be held at Shannon Rose Hill in Fort Worth on , 25, 2015 from 6-8pm. The graveside service will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont on , 27, 2015 at 3:30pm.
