Obituary: Janet went home to God on 19, 2003 following a brief illness. She was a generous and loving friend, sister, Mom and GJan. Her life was a prayer. Janet was born 4, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH to John E. and Helen M. Brigel. She was the fourth of five children. She graduated from McNicholas High School and was one of the McNick 8, a group of dear friends who recently gathered in MarthaÂs Vineyard to celebrate their long standing connection. She attended Ohio State University at Athens before joining Delta Airlines as a flight attendant. Janet married Clark H. McCoy on 31, 1967. had two children, and the family traveled the world as part of his military commission, settling in San Antonio in 1984. Janet was called to ministry at a young age and always served graciously. She volunteered in hospitals and nursing homes in Colorado Springs, CO; served as a diabetes educator in a, GA; cooked at St. HenryÂs soup kitchen in San Antonio, and spent many hours as a volunteer at several local hospitals. Along the way she received her BA in psychology from the University of Colorado and earned her MA in Pastoral Ministry from Oblate School of Theology. She was certified by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains. Janet spent the last decade as a Chaplain at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, primarily at the medical center campus. She helped many patients and families deal with the difficulties of hospitalization. She was an advocate for those who needed a voice. She brought light, peace, and laughter to their lives and ours. She was an incredible Mom and an exceptional ÂGJan to Zachary and William, her grandsons and Âjoy bringers. Janet is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her big brother, Jack. She is survived by her children, Amy Craig Smith of Corpus Christi and Clark, Jr. Kristin of McKinney, TX; her grandchildren, Zachary and William Smith; her sister, Joy Bill Moore; her brother Jim Shirley Brigel; her sister Judy Fritz Korn; her sister-in-law, Ann Brigel and several very special nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Christus Santa Rosa NW family, whose tremendous love and support sustained us during her illness. The family would also like to thank the physicians and staff at Brook Army Medical , particularly those in the MICCU, for the care and respect they showed Janet. Obituary: James Martin McCoy, went to be with Our Lord Jesus, on 18, 2017 at the age of 70. He was born on 27, 1946. Mr. McCoy honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Commander with the American Legion Post #575. James was instrumental in the planning and building of Lubbock Area Veterans War Memorial. He was preceded in death by parents, James Roy and Thelma L. McCoy; and a brother, David McCoy. Obituary: James Pitzer McCoy, Jr., age 79, of Plano, Texas, passed away 13, 2015 in McKinney, Texas. He was born 12, 1936 in St. Louis, Oklahoma to James Pitzer, Sr. and Lucy McCoy. James grew up in Oklahoma, and moved to Texas where he attended the University of North Texas. From there he moved to Kansas to work for Mobile Oil. It was during that time he met his bride of fifty-seven years, Patsy Ruth Hembree in Lyons, Kansas at the Patio where she was a Car-Hop. were married on 26, 1958. Shortly after marrying, James was drafted into the United States Army. He served his country honorably from 4, 1959 - 1961. The service took him, Patsy and their growing family around the country, from his basics in Arkansas, to stations in Georgia and Chicago. Post Army life, he went to work in the oil field, worked for the local newspaper, and even worked at the Lyons Salt Plant. Then the family packed up, and headed to Texas where they settled into their forever home. Always cheerful, full of jokes, and always ready to tease, James led a full life, was loved dearly by so many, and leaves a lasting legacy of love and family. James was preceded in death by his parents, James Pitzer McCoy Sr. and Lucy McCoy; and two sisters, Lucille Hanson and Mary Teel. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Hembree McCoy; brother, Noel McCoy; daughter, Debra Brown and her husband, Mark; son, Randall McCoy; daughter, Brenda Phillips and her husband, Tim; daughter, Glenda Harrold and her husband, Jay; daughter, Susan Jarzombek and her husband, Steven; and son, Michael McCoy. James is survived by thirteen grandchildren, Aaron Brown, Chris Brown, Jessica Brown, James McCoy and his wife Lacey, Jennifer Kilpatrick and her husband Todd, Jessica McGowan, Monica Thayer and her husband Matt, Tamra Phillips, Roland Cupaioli III and his wife Erica, Kevin Moore and his wife Crystal, Cameron McCoy, J.D. Abilene, TX. Jack was born on 8, 1930 in Riverton, Wyoming. He was the second son of Francis Michael and Edith McCoy. He enlisted in the USAF in 1948 at the age of 17. He married Shirley Ann Richerson and they had two daughters, Sherry Marie and Linda Lee. Jack was also blessed with the birth of one son, named Richard Green of England. In May of 1957, he married Sherry Jeanine Carpenter and had two daughters, Pamela Jean and Rickey Lynn. In 1968, Jack retired after serving his country for 20 years in the USAF, in such far-away places as Japan, Guam, Alaska, England, Korea, and French Morocco. He worked as a Business Forms Consultant for 20 years and retired from that career in 1988. He was a member of The Retired Enlisted Association, The American Legion Post #57, and the Disabled American Veterans. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Edith McCoy, brothers, Francis Michael McCoy, Jr., Michael John McCoy Sr., Patrick Arthur McCoy, sister-in-law Catherine McCoy, niece Cynthia McCoy, his beloved daughter Sherry Marie Yellott, and grandson William Lee Shelley III. Survivors include his wonderful wife of 57 years, Sherry McCoy of Abilene, children, Linda and Theo Wilson of Lake Limestone, Richard and Jan Green of England, Pamela and William Lee Shelley Jr. of Abilene, Rickey and Desmond Barber of Rogers, AR, also 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
