Obituary: McClendon, Anna Rose Lyssy Anna Rose Lyssy McClendon, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away , 23, 2014 at the Guadalupe Regional Medical in Seguin. She was 94 years old. Anna was born on 20, 1920 in Karnes City Texas to Kasper and Pauline (Pawlik) Lyssy. Anna was one of 10 children. In 1938 she met, and married the love of her life, Bradford Mac McClendon, in San Antonio, Texas. He passed away on 29, 1974, one year after moving his family to Seguin. Anna was always active. She belonged to the Saint Anns Circle, the Seguin Senior Citizens, Seguin Garden Club and the Guadalupe Extension makers. She is survived by her children who include her son Bradford McClendon & his wife Judith of Seguin, Texas, her daughter Carol Shelley of Weatherford, Texas, her son Paul McClendon and his wife Cynthia of Palestine, Texas, Daughter Ruth Linton of Cedar Park, Texas. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Barbra Ann McClendon, Russell Anson McClendon, Adrienne Leigh Linton, Christina Marie Smith and Travis Ansel Linton as well as one great-grandchild, Aubrey, and her siblings Marguerite Dlugosch of Cuero and Chester Lyssy of Victoria. Friends may call upon Annas family on , 26, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at the Goetz 713 North Austin Street, Seguin, Texas. A Rosary will be said in Annas honor at 7:00 PM on evening in the Goetz Memorial Chapel at Goetz . Annas funeral mass will be held on at 1:00 on , 27, 2014 at Saint James Catholic Church 510 South Camp Street, Seguin, Texas with interment following at San Geronimo 1620 East Walnut Street, in Seguin.
