Obituary: Bonnie Lorene McCasland, born Aug 13, 1923 in Tahoka, TX passed away Dec 7, 2016 peacefully, at age 93 in Kingsland, TX. Bonnie truly rejoiced in fellowship with friends and family at church while teaching Vacation Bible School and School. She received many awards of which she was very proud. Bonnie felt called by the Lord to play piano and sing the Lord's praises for over 30 years for the Trimmier Baptist Church and Cedar Knob Church, both of Killeen, before moving to Claremont Assisted Living of Marble Falls in 2003, later moving to Kingsland Hills in 2011 where she continued to play for visiting churches. She married her husband, Tom McCasland in 1939. raised 3 boys together. Along with serving her church, she enjoyed gardening, crocheting and numerous other crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Thomas McCasland; 2 brothers- L.V. (Pete) Perryman, Billy Jack Perryman; and sister Juanita Jo Perry. She is survived by 3 sons: Wayne McCasland and wife Angie of Marble Falls, Gary McCasland and wife Lynnette of Marble Falls, Ray McCasland of Buchanan Dam; sister-in-law, Brenda Perryman: 3 grandchildren: Kim Van Pelt, Andrea McCasland, Rod McCasland; 5 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Cody, Kylee, Madison, and Bobby; and 1 great-grandchild, Scarlett, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., , 12, 2016 at Crawford-Bowers . Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., , 13, 2016 also at Crawford-Bowers . Interment will follow at Killeen City . Obituary: James L. McCaskill, 73, of Paris, passed away , 5, 2014, at his home. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. , 9th, at Bright-Holland with Rev. Ken Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen . The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. James, the son of Frank James & Leola Lisenby McCaskill, was born Jan. 30, 1941, in Ferriday, LA. He retired from B & W as a mill machine operator. James was a member of First Baptist Church of Paris where he had been active in the bus ministry and served on the camera crew. He participated in many Masonic graveside rites during the years he was active with the Paris Masonic Lodge. He & Dottie volunteered at local nursing home for a number of years. James was an avid gardener and was a bird enthusiast, especially Purple Martins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Dorothy Cole and Nelda Hanger and a half-brother, F. J. McCaskill. Survivors include his wife, Dottie Walker McCaskill, whom he married on 15, 1974, children, James McCaskill & wife Candy of Orange, Wendy Rusak Bozarth & husband Eddie of Paris and Bob Rusak & wife Ronikaye of Paris, grandchildren, Kristen McCaskill, Katlyn McCaskill, Ryan Bozarth, Matt Bozarth & wife Ashley, David Bozarth, Reily Rusak and Jack Rusak, a great grandchild, Ansley Bozarth, one sister, Melva Oliver of Orange along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
