Obituary: Willie Lloyd Maugham received his angel wings on 29, 2015. Willie was born in Mudd, Tx on 18, 1937 to Ollie A. Gentry and James E. Maugham. He was one of seven children. He followed the love of his life, Velma Jackson, from Marble Falls to Roosevelt, Tx only to marry her just 3 weeks later in Junction, Tx on 19, 1957. In their 58 years of marriage they were blessed with 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren (soon to be 7). He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Annie Davis. He is survived by the love of his life Velma Maugham, daughters Ollie (Don) Busby, Betty Maugham, Leslie (Roger) Crowder and son Willie (Amber) Maugham, Jr. Grandchildren Melissa (John) Langs, Sarah (Jake) Wardlow, Ronald (Stephanie) Busby, Brandon (Peyton) Maugham-Schobey, Roger Jr. and Clint Crowder, Caitlin Hillis, Caitlin Pettit, Quinton and Conway and Kennedy Daniels and Cooper Maugham. Great-grandchildren Johnny, Brycen, Rylee, AJ, Korra, Baylor and baby Wardlow. Also survived by brothers Charlie, Walter, Cecil and Edmond Maugham, sister Earlene Maugham, brother-in-law Lewis Jackson and sister-in-law Faye Slocum. retiring from a long career at Texas Granite he moved on to retire from MFISD. However, his life long passion remained Small Engine Repair. Willie offered friendship and assistance to every visitor and customer until 2010 when his health forced him to close his business. Willie will be missed by his many friends and family. Not only will people remember Willie's handiwork but that he would fill your heart and your tummy too. |

Obituary: Charlie James Maugham passed away 28, 2016. He was born on 12, 1933 in Mudd, Texas to James (Jim) and Ollie Maugham. He married Virgie Bell Newman, the love of his life, on 5, 1957. moved to Marble Falls where they had 58 years of marriage which produced 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls. If you ever stopped by to see him he would ask you to come on in and if he was watching a western, he would like for you to watch it with him or if you smoked he would ask you if you wanted a cigar. He also enjoyed cutting the grass or working in the garden. During his working years, he worked for the City of Marble Falls, and he also worked building houses with Jim Carpenter and Tommy Long. He even worked with Ralph and Tichie Giesecke. He is preceded in death by his parents, along with his sister Annie Davis and brother Willie Maugham. He is survived by sons James and wife Rhonda, David and wife Jannie, Ralph, Billy and wife Bambi, daughters Charlene and Peggie and husband Bobbie Collins, grandchildren Heather, Stephanie, Anthony, Misty, Tana, Cody Shane, Jaklyn, Melanie, Tana, Matthew, Stormy, Misty and Skylar, along with many great grandchildren. Visitation will be , 5, 2016 from 5 - 7 pm at Clements Wilcox Chapel. service will be , 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at Clements Wilcox Chapel and internment at Marble Falls City . |
