Obituary: Pastor Marcos E. Martinez moved to heaven on 12, 2011. He is pastor and worship leader of Second Chance Christian Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas. Pastor Marc leaves to cherish his memory his high school sweetheart and wife of 25 years, Rhonda Belliveau Martinez; sons, Marcos Martinez II, Anthony Martinez, Vincent Martinez and Isaiah Martinez; grandson Anthony Martinez, Jr.; parents Mario M. and Consuelo Martinez; brother Mario M. Martinez II; father and mother-in-law Ronald and Rosa Belliveau; and sisters-in-law Isabel Bowie and husband Wesley, Belinda Cisneros and husband Richard and Becky Zepeda; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on 14, 1967. He graduated from John Jay High School and was an all-state trumpet player and guitarist. He earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from International Theological Seminary in Bradenton, Florida. Pastor Marc began his ministry as an evangelist preaching and singing across the United States, and in 2000 was ordained pastor of Second Chance Christian Fellowship. He was licensed Christian counselor, music composer and song writer, a member of the Presidential Prayer Team, and the San Antonio Association of Churches. The family thanks the entire staff at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills for their love and compassion. Visitation will be held on , 17, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Faith Outreach International, 3806 Sunshine Ranch, San Antonio 78228. The funeral service is , 18, 2011, 11:00 am at Faith Outreach International. Interment will follow at Resurrection at Cordi-Marian, 11624 Culebra, San Antonio. |

Obituary: Marco Antonio Martinez went to be with the Lord on 8, 2015, he was 78 years old. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Francisca Martinez and his son in law Ruben Ramirez. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Sara; his children Frank Martinez and wife Marta, daughter Sandra Martinez and son Gabriel Martinez and wife Gwen; grandchildren Monica Martinez Flores and husband Rocky, Christina Martinez, Juan Martinez, Christopher Ramirez, Veronica Castillo and her husband Carlos, Yadira Mayte, Ambrosia Torres and her husband Enrique and Francisca Martinez. Marco is also survived by his great grandchildren Rocky, Isela, Joshua, Jolissa, Angelina, Enrique, Juliana and Max as well as countless other family members and friends. A visitation will take place at Forest Park Lawndale on , 13, 2015 from 5-9 PM with a rosary service at 7 PM. Obituary: Marcial Martinez was born to Luis and Maria Castillo de Martinez on 27, 1952 in Hidalgo, Mexico. As the fifth child of ten siblings Marcial was one of six boys and had 4 sisters. Soon after being born his family moved to Hermosillo, Sonora where he would attend school at the University of Sonora. During that time Marcial would find a girlfriend that would end up being his soul mate, Norma Martinez, at the age of 17. Marcial would end up moving to Los Angeles, California after visiting Norma on a Christmas vacation. would then get married in 1975 while Marcial was going to school in order to perfect his English. a few years in Los Angeles they would once again move but this time it was to Houston, Texas. Marcial then attended University of Houston and would enter into what would turn out to be a career in the engineering field. Marcial and Norma were blessed with two children Julio and Marcy Martinez. In early 2002 Marcial would make the biggest decision of his life by becoming a Christian. Though Marcial wasn't one to speak too much about the word, he conducted himself in a manner that illustrated that he was a man of God loving others the way we are all instructed to as Christians. He was a man who loved to have fun, the classic jokester, not only with friends, family and coworkers, but also with complete strangers. Marcial was one of those few people you could call a friend. You could call him in the middle of the night and he would wake up and help in any way possible. He was the type of man that instilled love and kindness in every person he came into contact with. He loved spending time with his family. He loved to be outdoors and playing any sport. Marcial truly left this world a better place after being an agent of love during his short time with us. A true inspiration to the many who were blessed to meet him. Though he has gone to be with God, the father, he has left a void but in all of our hearts as he watches over us from heaven. |
