Obituary: Shelby John Martin, passed away on , 28, 2015 at the age of 76. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. Mr. Martin , graduated from El Paso High School, received his Bachelor of Science from Texas Western and his Masters in Ed. Admin From University of Texas at El paso. Mr. Martin was very proud to have been the principal of MacArthur Middle School, The State Gold Star School. Shelby was preceded in death, by the love of his life, Arcelia Martin and his parents Abe and Daisy May Martin and sister Jeanene Leonard. Survivors include his brother Nelson (Sandra) Martin, Stepchildren Patricia Palafox, David (Patty) Palafox and his grandsons, who he dearly loved; Thomas David (Amanda) Palafox, Patrick Palafox (fiancé-Sarah Shiffman). Obituary: Sharon Ann Eastman Martin passed away 15, 2012. She was born 29, 1955 in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio in May 1974. Sharon attended Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas where she met Jerry Martin. were married on 4, 1976. She graduated from the University of Finley, Ohio in 1993 where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Hazardous Waste Management, Summa Cum Laude and Schoolcraft , Michigan in 1999 where she received her Associates degree in Culinary Arts, Summa Cum Laude. Sharon worked in an environmental lab as Inorganic Lab Manager before following her early interest in the culinary field. While attending Schoolcraft she won medals in ACF contemporary cooking competition, ACF competition practices and regional ACF team competitions. She worked for eight years at Oakland Hills Country Club in Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her daughter, Meagan Martin Ramirez and husband Jesus; two grandchildren, Isabella and Danielle; mother, Mary Lou Eastman; two brothers, Kirk Eastman and wife Cindy, Craig Eastman and wife Mary; sister, Lynn Mullins and husband Steve; and many nieces and nephews. Obituary: Sarah Ann Martin was a graduate of Abilene Christian and Sam Houston State University, earning B.S. and M.Ed degrees. She was an award-winning teacher and business woman who taught for 35 years, primarily in the Houston and Conroe ISDs. She was a dedicated member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a Girl Scout leader. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Ewing Martin. She is survived by her mother, Odalee Martin, and brother Mason Martin, her only daughter Sarah, and dozens of cousins, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 AM , 29th, at the Conroe Church of Christ. Visitation evening from 5-8 at the Metcalf in Conroe. |
