Obituary: Wilburn Louis Maeker died May 16, 2017 at Heritage Oaks nursing facility in Lubbock. Texas. He was born in Wilson, TX on May 1, 1932 to Hugo and Alma Maeker. Wilburn graduated from Wilson High School in 1951 and enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving from 1954 to 1956. He married Fredda Loy Blair on 22, 1956 and farmed in Lynn , moving to Lubbock in 1974. He also worked as a warehouseman for Bell Dairy for 20 years and was a member of The Church of God - PKG. Wilburn was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Howard Buddy Maeker, Orville Maeker, Charles Maeker, and Ray Maeker. Wilburn is survived by his wife, Fredda; sons, Carl Mark Maeker of Lubbock, TX, Paul William Maeker of Murphy, TX; daughter, Carol Diann Mellerup of New Franklin, MO; brothers, Larry Maeker of Sulfur Springs, TX, Walter Ray Steen of Wilson, TX; also blessed with five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Chapel Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., , May 23, 2017 in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven . Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Obituary: Edwin E. Maedgen, 72, of McGregor, passed away , 20, 2014 in a McGregor nursing home. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, , 23, 2014 in McGregor with the Reverend Edward Ramirez officiating. Mr. Maedgen was born on 21, 1942 in Eddy, Texas to Dale and Amanda (Find) Maedgen. He married Charlene Maedgen on 9, 1983 in McGregor and they celebrated over 15 wonderful years together until her death on 8, 1998. Mr. Maedgen worked for Tom Kirk Ford for many years as a mechanic and went to work for Jr. Fisher until he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter; Debbie Ramirez, granddaughter; Juanita Renee Lord and 4 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his children; Sherri Spivey, Martha Ramirez and her husband, Pete, Buster Lyles and Howard Bright and his wife, Neita, sister; Billy Brinks, son-in-law; Gilbert Ramirez, 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Little Moe Spradley and his niece and nephew; David and Janette Anderson. would also like to give a special thanks to the staff at Westview Manor and Providence Hospice for their loving care given to our dad. Memorials may be made to the McGregor Fire Department. |

Obituary: Georgia Mae Stubbs, affectionately known as Mimie to everyone, was born 24, 1939 in Soper, OK, the daughter of Hub Davenport and Dora (Kendrix) Davenport and had lived most of her life in the Boswell area. She married John Stubbs on 21, 1959 in Soper. Georgia was affiliated with the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church of Boswell. She enjoyed cooking, going to church, painting and taking care of plants. Even though she was in great pain herself, she still had great compassion and love for others. Georgia witnessed to everyone about Jesus because she was concerned about where they were going to spend eternity. Her parents preceded her in death. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: her husband, John Stubbs; son, John Stubbs, Jr. of Boswell; daughters, Donna Pope and husband, George of Boswell and Rhonda Hamon and husband, Rusty, also of Boswell; brothers and sisters, Bobbie Marsh of Nelson, OK, Ruby Wiginton of Littlefield, TX, Buck Davenport of Soper, Tommie Jones of Hugo, Wayne Davenport of Norwalk, CA, Jerry Davenport of Rowlett, TX, Larry Davenport of Hugo, Linda Garrison of Rowlett, TX, Brenda Splawn of Dallas, TX and Mike Davenport of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, J.D. Obituary: Kenneth E. Maduzia, 77, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away on , 19, 2015. He was born on 23, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Edward and Veronica Maduzia. Kenneth graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1957 and afterward served his country in the United Sates Army Reserves. He worked his entire career until retirement for Southern Pacific Railroad. He had a passion in life which was he loved to work on cars and did that quite often. Kenneth was preceded in death by his loving wife Marian; step-daughter René Carlett and Step-son Duane Mursu. He is survived by his step-son Danni Mursu, Step-daughters Gina Moore and husband Terry, Delana Wietle and husband Bill, and Christa Neenan; brothers Franklin R.
