Obituary: Joe M. Maceiras, 88, of Port Arthur, TX passed away , 19, 2015. Joe was born 1, 1927 in Port Arthur to Richard and Salvadora Maceiras. Joe served for the United States Merchant Marine. He retired from Texaco after 40 years of service. Joe was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a hard worker, always a perfectionist, and was a jack of all trades. Joe was very talented in woodworking and remodeling. Joe is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 37 years, Laura Mae Maceiras; daughter, Laura Joe Allen; brother, Richard Maceiras; sisters, Mary Romero and Margaret Jones. He is survived by his children, Joe Maceiras II, Dolores Maceiras of Beaumont, and Mary Ann Broussard and husband Bobby of Port Neches; son-in-law, Benny Allen of Westminster, MD.; one brother, Alfred Maceiras and wife Sue of Pasadena. Grandchildren include Andrew Allen (Michelle), Amber Dawson (Brian), Cody Ann Robinson (Patrick), Candice Maceiras (Matt Kimball), Lisa Broussard, and Michael Broussard (Jordan). Mr. Maceiras also leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren; 1 expectant great-grandchild; and a host of friends to cherish his memories. A Christian Vigil and Rosary will be recited , 27, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle . The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., , 28, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. |

Obituary: Fred Edward Maceda, age 50, Our Beloved Bug-man. An entrepreneur and owner of Barrier Pest Control. Fred was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on 11, 1961, and moved to Dallas in his youth. He is survived by his parents Frank A. Maceda Sr. and Marcella Maceda. Brother to Frank Maceda Jr., Fabian Maceda, Fernando Maceda, and Fermin Maceda. He was preceded in death by his brother Felix Maceda. Other surviving family members are sister-in-laws Jeanie, Kathy, Novalyn, and Marie. Surviving nieces and nephews are Joseph, Jesse, Juanita, Amanda, Elliot, Simon, and his God-son Oliver. Fred attended St. Thomas Aquinas elementary school, Jesuit Preparatory, and Stephen F. Austin State University, where he graduated in 1985. He was a member of Knights of Columbus #799 and was also active in STACS and Dallas Sports and Social Club, ran two marathons, and loved to cook. Fred was a leader in laughter and service to his friends, family, and customers. He was a loving spirit to children and an endearing heart to elderly, in and out of his life. Fred is well-known for his love of animals, having several dogs and fish. Fred has an endless amount of friends and never met a stranger. He was one of the people you could always count on. His truck was always available for anyone who needed to move or just get picked up at the airport. His true joy was making people laugh, and at this, he was a master. Fred will be missed by his customers, his friends, his family, and his pets. We still need you, Fred, but we will find a way. Rest in peace, our brother, our friend, our son. Obituary: Jean Tumlinson Macecevic age 80, passed away 16, 2011. She was born on 14, 1930 in Ada, Oklahoma to Otie and Belle Tumlinson. She is survived by her husband, William A, Macecevic Jr.; daughters, Teresa Neatherlin and husband Robert, Laura Andersen and husband Cris; son, William Macecevic III and wife Suzanne; grandchildren, Michael Neatherlin and wife Lauren, Charlotte Shepard and husband Matt, Tracy Smart and husband Vince, Rachel Macecevic, William Macecevic IV and Olivia Macecevic; great-grandchildren, Salem Macecevic, Alexandra Neatherlin and Taylor Smart. Jean was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a former chairman of the Alamo Committee, DRT. She also was past president of the Bexar Chapter Professional Engineers Auxiliary. The family would like to thank the staff of Mystic Park Rehab for their loving care.
