Obituary: .Lynne Marshall, 80, of Knoxville, passed away on , 17, 2016. Lynnes family lived in Wears Valley until they moved to Knoxville in 1950, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Marshall. her daughters were of school age, Lynne began working in the Knox School system as a substitute teacher. Eventually she became a full time assistant in a special education setting at Doyle Middle School. Later in life, Lynne and Jerry became house parents at the Williams-Henson Lutheran for Children. served as house parents for ten years until Lynne was named the Director of the Williams-Henson Lutheran for Children where she worked until her retirement. Lynne was a long time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was preceded by parents, Clyde and Sydney Lawson; husband, Jerry Marshall; daughter, Lisa Marshall; son-in-law, Doug Sowards. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ronnie Jarrett; five grandchildren, Jordan (Morgan) Sowards, Kara Sowards, Christopher Jarrett, Stephen Jarrett, and Nicholas Jarrett; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John Gillespie; several nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Brian Osterman. The family will receive friends , 26, 2016 from 4:30pm until 7:30pm at Berry , 3704 Chapman Highway. Obituary: James Steven Steve Marshall, 60, retired lineman with Duck River Electric and resident of Old Highway 99, died , 30, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical . services will be conducted at 12:00 noon at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Tandy Roberts officiating. Born 4, 1955 in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late H. W. Bub Marshall and the late Dorothy Ann Johnson Marshall. Survivors include his sons, Donald (Tami) Blair of Columbia; Robby Marshall of Culleoka; Wes (Nicole) Marshall of Murfreesboro; daughter, Brianne (Mike) DeLoach of Columbia; grandchildren, Keith Blair, Hunter Blair, Taylor Blair, Hallie Marshall, Camden Marshall, and Conner DeLoach; brothers, Herschel Marshall and Greg Marshall; and special friends, Mary Jaye Lawrence and Jim (Pam) Pipkin.
