She will forever be cherished and remembered by her beloved husband of over 48 years, Carl Gene Mincks, her treasured children Cariren & Dan Desrocher of Warner Robins, GA, Villachai & Jan Mincks of Milton, FL, grandchildren Rebecca Danson, Lauren, Caitlin, & Caleb Minks, great grandchild, Brandon Dampier, caring mother-in-law, Betty J. Smith, along with countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know her. Penny was a supportive wife and devoted mother as her husband served over 22 years in the Air Force, traveling the country and the world, making so many loving friends along the way. Obituary: Carl Gene Mincks, 68, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away 12, 2015 after a grueling battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born 16, 1946 in Springfield, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 48 years, Maneewan Penny Mincks and will forever be remembered and cherished by his children Cariren (& Dan) Desrocher of Warner Robins, GA, Villachai (& Jan) Mincks of Milton, FL, grandchildren Rebecca Danson, Lauren, Caitlin, & Caleb Mincks, great grandchild, Brandon Dampier, loving mother, Betty J. Smith, sisters Virginia Tabor, Alesia (& Mike) Traiteur, and brother Dearld (& Wanda) Smith, along with countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know him. Carl was just 4 years old when he lost his father to leukemia but his dear mother raised him into the wonderful son, father, husband, and friend he lived to be. In 1963, Carl accepted Christ and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. In 1964, Carl enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed overseas for most of his military career, serving in liquid oxygen and later in air traffic control until he retired 22 years later as a Senior Master Sergeant. In 1966, Carl had met his true love and forever soulmate, Penny, and together they adopted and raised their children and enjoyed their life together to the fullest. Carl was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, cooking, teaching English to Thai Students, and spending time with family and friends. Carl touched the lives of many people with his kindness and generosity, and maintained his selfless love for others all the way to the end. Obituary: PARK HILL, OK- services for Linda Faye Mincher were held on , 16th, 2011 at 1;00 PM at the Reed-Culver of Tahlequah, OK. Pastor Garland Thomas of New Life Church of Tahlequah officiated. Linda Faye Mincher was born on 28th, 1954 in Tulsa, OK the daughter of Earl and Rea Betty (Heyne) Davis . She attended school in Cave Springs. Linda married and raised three daughters and two sons. Linda was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She kept her family home clean and comfortable. Linda was blessed with a fantastic sense of humor and loved to joke and tease her family and friends. She loved the outdoors and raised gardens both flower and vegetable. Linda had a special place in her heart for animals and spent time with pet geese, ducks and roosters. A talented cook, Linda made the best homemade tamales and burritos for her family and their friends. When she had the time, she enjoyed going to garage sales to spot a bargain or going fishing for the afternoon. When time permitted, she curled up with a Beverly Lewis book or watched Ghost Hunters on T.V. A Christian by faith, she was a member of New Life Church in Tahlequah. She collected angels and had them placed around her home to remind her of the love of God. The Lord called Linda home from her earthly life on 12, 2011 in Tahlequah, OK with her family at her side. She was fifty six years old. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends for all the love she showed them in their daily lives. Linda is preceded in death by her mother, one uncle , Junior Davis, and one cousin Mike Davis. Those left to cherish her memory include her five children, Stephanie Tannehill and husband Darrell Sr. of Welling, OK, Betty Kindred and companion David Griffin of Tahlequah, Rebecca Dugan and companion Sasha Kimpel of Tahlequah, OK, Mitchell Dugan and companion Jeanna Howell of Park Hill, OK, and Tyler Mincher of the home in Park Hill. Her father Earl and stepmother Lela Davis of Taft, OK and the love of Linda,s life and her constant companion is Eutimio Ramirez of the home in Park Hill. Linda has three brothers and one sister, Pamela and Danny Lewis of Park Hill, OK, Jerry Davis and wife Jean of Cave Springs, OK, Dennis Davis and wife Patricia of Keys, OK, and Earl Grey and wife Diane of Omack, WA. Lindas legacy lives on in her ten grandchildren, Jacob Hubbard, Jessica Tinnin, Joshua Hubbard, Stephanie Kindred, Rebecca Kindred, Dylan Dugan, Christian Dugan, Izabella Dugan, Nathaniel Epperson, and Ryan Parnell ,her very best girlfriend, Adel Murray, and a special nurse friend, Teresa Deckard, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones. |
