Obituary: Allene McClellan, age 90, of Sulpher, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on , 22nd, after a long battle with cancer. Allene was born on 20th, 1926 in Checotah. Ok. She was the second child of eight children born to Fred and Elsie McGinnis. Allene worked for Western Electric for 17 years and retired in 1976. She was an avid gardener who loved to work in her flower beds in her spare time. She also loved to crochet, sew and make dolls. Her greatest love was her family and grandchildren who were the lights of her life. While the last few years of Allenes life were filled with sickness she kept a smile on her face and was very grateful for the love and care she received. She was preceded in death by: Husband, John McClellan, Father and Mother, Fred and Elsie McGinnis, Sisters, Jewel Davis, Maxine Nichols, Helen Rogers, Wynema Chase, Brother, Quinton McGinnis, Son In Law, Wesley Archie Duty, Granddaughter, Becky Arnold, Great Granddaughter, Stephanie Don Schweitzer, Great Grandson, Ricky Betancur She is survived by: Two Daughters; Juanita Duty of the home and Lana Culver and husband Artie Sisters; Betty Voss and Ruby Jackson, Grandchildren; Rene Holthus and husband Jimmy, Wesley Duty, Lisa Schmidt, Sherry Eggar and husband Eley, Robin Hays and husband Clint, Timmy Housley and wife Kerri, Stella Housley, and Sheri Housley. Eight great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. 27, 2017 at Primrose Service, Norman, OK. Service will be at 2:00 p.m. 28, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel, Norman, OK. |
