Obituary: Richard Paul Minto, 62 of Warren, died morning, 5, 2017, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born 31, 1954 in Steubenville, the son of the late Clarence Edward Minto and Nina Dale Steen Minto Fisher. Richard was a 1973 graduate of Steubenville Big Red High School and then received his certification in heating and air conditioning. He last worked for Albert Guarnieri & Co. Wholesale making deliveries and in vending machine repair for 15 years. Richard was an avid fisherman. Richard is survived by one daughter, Melissa Minto of Burton; one son, Jason Minto of Warren; four sisters, Margaret Freshwater of Spring Hill, Fla., Helen Lindsay of Toronto, Ohio, Lois Lindsay and Mary Lindsay both of Niles; one brother, Jimmy (Patty) Minto of Wintersville, Ohio and three grandsons. One son, Richard Minto and three brothers, Raymond Sonny, Bobby and Calvin Minto have all preceded him in death. Per Richards wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Obituary: Everett L. Minto passed away at his home on , 21st, 2015. He was 95 years young, born 26, 1919 in Clymer, PA, son to the late John and Theda (Widdowson) Minto. He leaves behind his wife of 69 years, Alberta (Stevens), married 17, 1945. Born to them two children, Marc (Judy Todd) Minto and Barbara Sue (Deceased) to Mark Caroots. Blessed with 3 grandchildren, Tracey (Kurt) Wright, Jon (Tracey Folman) Miles, and Kari (Michael) Evans; 4 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Arron, and Dylan Miles, and Ryan Evans; and many nieces and nephews. Everett loved them all. Everett was a 1939 graduate from Mineral Ridge High School. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force during WWII and was shot down on his 21st mission on 24th. He was captured as a POW in Stalag 17B, where he remained for 13 months. Everett was awarded the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaves and the Purple Heart for his service to his country. Everett built a home for his family; he remained there and passed on from there. He was a Christian. He loved nature and animals and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Everett drove truck for J.D. Fowler Construction and retired in 1982 from General Motors, Lordstown. He was a member of the Local 1112. Family will receive friends on , 24 from 1-2PM at Lane Family s, Mineral Ridge Chapel. services will follow at 2PM with Everetts nephew, Dr. Thomas Madden officiating. Interment will follow at Kerr where military honors will be performed. The family would like to extend a special thanks to those who were Everetts caretakers, Linda Alexander, Karen Gallbreath, and Brenda Coones, Shepard of the Valley, and Grace Hopsice. He loved and appreciated you all for your caring comfort and faithful service.
