Obituary: MEIRING, Patricia J., age 78, of ville, passed away on 24, 2015. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Drusy Hester and brother, Bob Hester. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dan. Also, survived by brothers, Dick (Sue), and Lee (Marge); sisters, Judy (Dale), Barb (Jim), Marilyn (Jim), Sherrie (Paul) and Vicky (Dan); numerous nieces and nephews and aunt Eloise Fleming. Pat was a 1954 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School and a 1961 graduate of Miami Jacobs Business . graduating from business college she gained employment with the City of Dayton for 30 years, retiring in 1989. Following retirement she volunteered at the Miami Valley Chapter Alzheimers Association, maintaining the library of books and periodicals. She was a devoted member of the Kettering Church of Christ and predecessor Church of Christ since 1974. Pat taught school for over 50 years. Pat and Dan loved to travel and visited the State Capitals of all 50 U.S. states. also traveled extensively in many foreign countries, including Israel, Jordan, Italy, Greece, England and France. She also enjoyed playing tennis and at one time served as Secretary of the City of Dayton tennis league. She also enjoyed and coordinated many family gatherings. The family will receive relatives and friends at Routsong , 81 N. Main St. ville, OH on , 27, 2015 from 4:00-7:00pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on , 28, 2015 at 10:00am. Her entombment will follow the services at Calvary Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Patricia to the Miami Valley Chapter Alzheimers Association, 31 W. Whipp Rd. Obituary: NANCY K. MEIRING Nancy Meiring, age 74, of Swanton passed away on May 20, 2013 in her home. Nancy was born in Toledo on 12, 1938 to Donald & Eleanor (Kreplever) Garner. A homemaker all her life, Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her loving husband, Robert; sons, Greg (Julie) Meiring; Lee (Dana) Meiring; Glen (Angie) Meiring; grandchildren, Nicholas, Alex, Matthew, Lauren, Allison, Adam, great grandchildren, Vincent, Gabrielle and brother, Don Duke Garner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald & Eleanor. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held on 2, 2013 at the Providence Lutheran Church, 8131 Airport Highway, Holland, where the family will receive friends from 12 to 1 pm with the service beginning at 1 pm. Burial will be private. are being handled by Neville , Holland. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Providence Lutheran Church Youth Camp. |
