Obituary: Evelyn S . Moton, 87, of Raleigh died , 6, 2014 at her home. Evelyn was a long time resident of Raleigh and worked as a Registered Nurse at Rex Hospital for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lester Ray Moton, in 2012. She is survived by her three children, Linda Macon and husband Donnie, Tina Partin and husband Terry, and Lester Ray Moton, Jr.; and grandson, Donald E. Macon III and wife Michelle, all of Raleigh. A memorial service will be held in the mausoleum chapel at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, , 10th at 11am. Private inurnment will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions Life ( formerly Hospice of Wake ) 250 Hospice Cir., Raleigh, NC 27607.
