Mrs. Minton was born on 20, 1935 in Mitchell to the late Clyde Wilson and Lillie Thomas Wilson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clinard Albert Minton, one brother; J. C. Wilson, sisters; Ruby Hillard, Joyce Hendrix, McMahan and Barbara Brown. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Steve and Connie Minton of Hudson, a daughter, Debbie and Randy Cooper of Lenoir, a brother, Jack Wilson of Lenoir and a sister, Kathleen Cox of Morganton, two grandchildren; Meredith Minton Dilling and Jacob Minton. A graveside service will be held , 24, at 10:00 am. at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir with Reverend Roger Beck officiating. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Meadowbrook Baptist Church at 914 Meadowlane Drive Lenoir, NC 28645. Obituary: Sean Christian Minto, 36, of Mobile, Alabama died suddenly on , 24th, 2017. Sean was born in Shreveport, LA, and graduated from Ragsdale High School in Jamestown. He was an entrepreneur who had recently launched a new music business, Be Self Confident Musiq, in Mobile. Sean was predeceased by his father John Minto. He is survived by his daughter, Sydney; his mother and step-father, Marcia and Cliff Thomas of Greensboro; his step-mother, Judy Minto of Asheboro; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. James Mert Minto of Mobile and his maternal grandfather, Ron Morris of New Braunfels, TX; his brothers, Jeff of New Orleans, Chris of Greensboro and Ryan of Wake Forest; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Obituary: Robert Donald Minthorn, age 91 of Harrisburg, NC died 6, 2014. He was born in Detroit Michigan on 27, 1922 and graduated from Wilbur Wright High School. He served proudly in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a B-26 bomber pilot flying 39 missions in the European theater including many during the Battle of the Bulge. retiring as a business executive in the Cleveland, Ohio area he moved to Charlotte, NC. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ethel, and daughter, Linda. He is survived by his loving family: his wife of 34 years, Mary, and his five daughters and sons-in-law: Judy and Benton Stacy, Joanne and John Clark, Margaret and George Yu, Nancy and Dennis Toler and Susan Gornichec. He is also survived By Grandchildren and great-grandchildren-even to the 5th generation.
