Obituary: Christine McCular 1961 - 2017 Grover- Christine Chris Cunningham McCular, 55 passed away May 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Medford, Massachusetts on 21, 1961. Chris loved gardening and was crazy about the Boston Bruins (Hockey). She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Gastonia. Chris worked in the medical field as a secretary. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Ron McCular, her daughters, Elizabeth Ann McCular and Emily Danielle McCular and fiancée David Geehan; her parents, James Gerard and Nancy Ann Foster Cunningham; brothers, James Gerard Cunningham, Jr., Michael Patrick Cunningham and wife Nikki, Peter Allen Cunningham; special aunt and godmother Jeannie Dalton; her fur baby Misty. Services will be 11:00 a.m., , May 24, 2017 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1201 South New Hope Road, Gastonia, with The Reverend Dr. Gary W. Butterworth officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private. Obituary: Mrs. Ann Hester McCuiston, 71, of Lexington, died on , 21, 2015, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. Ann was born in Forsyth , on 7, 1943 a daughter to the late Sarah Bailey and the late Alonzo Franklin Hester. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry McCuiston and one son, Jonathan McCuiston. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a child care center from her home. Ann enjoyed playing cards with friends and neighbors and spending time riding on her golf cart. Ann is survived by her son, Scott McCuiston of Lexington and her daughter, Donna McCuiston of Dallas, TX. She was a loving and dedicated mother, sister, and friend and she will be dearly missed by all that knew her. A celebration of life will be held 11 AM, , 25th in the Chapel of Frank Vogler and Sons Clemmons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park, 1307 West Old Hwy. 64, Lexington, NC 27292. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004. |
