Obituary: Renald Amadeo Manetti, Esq., 83 Falmouth - Renald Amadeo Manetti died on 22, 2015, after an extended illness. He loved his family, God, his country, his work, and music. Renald was born in Monessen, PA on 6, 1932, the eldest child of Andrew and Eleanor Manetti. A graduate of Pittsburgh University and Harvard Law School, Renald married Mary Eunice Gorman of Dorchester, MA in 1955 while they were both attending Harvard Law School. Renald entered the United States Army in 1956 and served the Judge Advocate General until his discharge in 1959. which he served in the US Army Reserves until he retired at the rank of Major. Renald worked as a corporate attorney for US Steel from 1959 until 1969 and then joined ITT in its NYC headquarters office where he retired from a position as Assistant General Counsel. Renald and Mary settled in Sleepy Hollow, NY in the late sixties and resided there and other Hudson Valley communities for forty-five years raising their six children. During his time as a Mergers & Acquisition attorney, Renald travelled the world visiting Europe, Latin America, South East Asia, Middle-East, and Australia. retirement, Renald and his wife, Mary, continued to travel including visits to the Greek Isles, China, and multiple trips with a choir group that sang at renowned churches including The Vatican, Westminster Cathedral in London, and Saint Marks Basilica in Venice. A life-long musician, Renald was a member of the Transfiguration Church choir for over twenty years and a member of Westchester Choral Society. Renald was also a life-long athlete competing in amateur tennis as a young man and later an avid squash player and devoted New York Yankees fan. Renald is mourned by Mary, his wife of nearly sixty years; his son Renald Jr. (Vanessa) of Quartz Hill, CA; his daughter Ellen (Michael Courts) of Portland, ME; his son Paul (Maureen) of Freeport, ME; his daughter Mary of Ossining, NY; his daughter Maggie (Brad Sousa) of Hastings, NY; and his daughter Carolyn (Paul Broucek)of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Sarah, Timothy, Joshua, Emily, Jenny, Michael, Christopher and Jason; and his sister Angela (Richard Covert) and his brother Jerry (Carolyn) and many nieces and nephews. Brilliant, compassionate, and generous, Ren lived and died with fearless grace. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, , 25 at Lindquist , One Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth, ME. Obituary: Patricia Maneri-Allen, a beloved teacher and community volunteer with a love for theater, died in 2015 of natural causes. She was 69. During her 31 years as an instructor in the East Ramapo (N.Y.) Central School District, Pat taught with a boundless warmth and energy that won her the love and respect of her students and fellow teachers. She brought a sense of bold creativity to the classroom, exploring subjects-music, arts, theater and even archaeology-that were outside of the school curriculum. Friends called her The Mary Poppins of Teaching. Following her retirement in 2001, Pat continued to work with young people. Joining the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Organization (R.S.V.P.), she volunteered as a clown at community institutions throughout Rockland , N.Y. Donning a red nose and colorful garb (Pat was, in fact, known for her keen fashion sense), she would cheer up children at Helen Hayes Hospital in Haverstraw, N.Y., as well as seniors at local assisted living centers. Later, she served as an instructor for the R.C.I.A program at the Church of the Presentation, where she was a parishioner for many years. She also continued to pursue, and expand upon, her lifelong passion for theater. Traveling to New York City from her residence in Suffern, N.Y., Pat made Broadway her second home. She frequented Manhattans Theater District on a monthly basis, catching many of her favorite musicals, including Brigadoon, Wizard of Oz and Singin In The Rain. She was a lover of music; friends marveled at her encyclopedic knowledge of American Standards. Searching for an outlet for her energy post-retirement, Pat took a part-time job at the Hallmark store in Mahwah, N.Y. To those that knew her, the gig made perfect sense: Every year, on Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentines Day and Halloween, Pat made it a point of sending holiday-themed cards to all of her friends and family. She rarely missed sending a card and loved ones received them with glee. Pat was born in Elmhurst (Queens), NY in 1946, among the first post WWII aby boomers. She grew up in Wantagh, and later when the family relocated (1956), Hartsdale, NY. Pat graduated from Maria Regina High School in 1964. high school, she enrolled at Mercy in nearby Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., where she earned her Bachelors degree in 1968. Following college, she broke immediately into teaching, serving as an instructor at El Dorado Elementary School in Spring Valley, N.Y. while earning her Masters Degree in Education. She taught at schools across the East Ramapo Central School District, spending several years as an instructor in the districts Gifted Program. She is survived by her sister, Joan Kulikowski, her brother-in-law Michael, and their three children, Paul, Ann Bedard (nee Kulikowski) and Peter; her brother, Ken Lamour, his wife, Harriet and their son, Nathan Wise; her brother-in-law, Tom Gargan, and his sons, Scott and T.J. She is predeceased by her sister, Carole Gargan, and her parents, Robert and Anne J. Lamour. A wake will be held 18 (4:30pm to 8:00pm) at the Wanamaker & Carlough funeral home (Suffern). The funeral mass will be held at 10:00am 19 at the Church of the Presentation (Upper Saddle River, NJ), with interment following immediately at Ascension in Airmont.
